"Super small shower area. I am 150cm tall and 42 kg , hard to turn around. The doors of the shower area got a big gap such that the floor was all flooded after shower. Room big for a double room and small for a single one ."

The Navigazione Laghi ferry terminal is right next to the hotel, making it incredibly easy to explore Lake Como by boat. Several of Como’s most iconic landmarks are also close by. The Duomo di Como is only a short walk away. The Monumento ai Caduti and the Tempio Voltiano are both nearby along the lakeside, and a pleasant stroll brings you to Villa Olmo, one of the city’s grandest villas. For panoramic views over the lake and mountains, the Funicolare Como–Brunate is also within easy reach. I stayed in one of the renovated rooms, which was spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day. The room felt modern, fresh and comfortable, and the view over Lake Como was absolutely unforgettable. Waking up to that scenery is an experience in itself. The hotel’s restaurant, Imbarcadero, is another highlight. The food is excellent, prepared with great care and top-quality ingredients. It is the perfect place to enjoy a meal while taking in the atmosphere of Como. Hotel Metropole Suisse is not just any four-star hotel. It exceeds expectations in every way: hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, location and quality. The staff alone elevate the entire experience to a higher level. The bathroom was just as impressive as the rest of the room. It was spotless, freshly cleaned every day and maintained with great attention to detail. Everything felt hygienic, modern and perfectly taken care of, which added even more comfort to the stay. What truly sets Hotel Metropole Suisse apart, however, is the staff. They are not just friendly , they are exceptional. Every interaction feels genuine, warm and sincere. "Very clean, friendly staff and the breakfast is amazing"

"The service is disgusting. We arrived at 3:30, the room was not ready, we waited another 40 minutes to check in. We had a birthday, a month before arrival we contacted the hotel and asked to prepare balloons and a cake with a candle. The day before they reminded us again. In the end, on the day itself, they said that there would be no balloons, but they would bring a cake in the evening, then they said that there would be no cake, they would bring a birthday cake with a candle. In the end, they brought a small tartlet with berries without a candle and without balloons. I do not recommend the hotel for your birthday. In addition, we paid 54 euros for parking for three nights! I do not understand how a 4-star hotel can charge for parking. Despite the fact that on the day of check-in they said that parking was free - incompetent employees. There is free parking nearby. Without a car - you should not stay in this hotel, too far from all the attractions."

"Nice and considerate staff, kudos to the lady at the front desk who is named Nives. The service is always available, the location is conveniently located. Despite the fact that i had some misgivings regarding the smell of the room (it is okay, but heavily scented somewhat with cleaning products; a pleasant smell of course i can live with but prefer to not have smelled at all), the view here is amazing. Would recommend again for someone who is trying to stay at lake como, a value choice."

"Excellent friendly welcome at reception. Good location (15mins from the main railway station and 15 mins to the lake itself) on a nice road, but at the quieter end and close to restaurants and general attractions. Apartment was in good condition and ideal for my short stay."
