This is a mature tourist area, there are many hotels, the competition is fierce, and life is very convenient. It's a slow pace here, and the restaurant outside closes early in the evening. This hotel is very affordable at this price, the room is big, the air is very good, the view here is also very beautiful, there are two mountains nearby. The hotel's free breakfast, although not many types, but full of fried rice, eggs and coffee. There are not many guests in the hotel, the small garden grass is very good, and the drone flew by the way. You have to drive by yourself here, and the main road has to drive several slopes to go up. The slopes in Indonesia look so steep, narrow and steep.

We had an absolutely excellent stay at The Tangko Resort Inn. We are bird watchers and before our stay had communicated with Rei at the Tangko Resort and had agreed a “package” for accommodation, all food, transport from Jakarta to the hotel, transport onwards to Carita and then from Carita back to Jakarta. The package also included being taken on the back of motorcycles driven by the hotel’s staff to Gunung Gede NP very early each morning and picking us up late in the day. Rei was nothing short of meticulous in his planning and preparation and everything worked out exceptionally well. Our room was clean, spacious with two queen beds, hot water and a nice balcony/terrace. We had a different Chef and Chef’s assistant in the morning from the evening and both teams produced an amazing quality and quantity of food. Breakfast was often at 4.30am and had 4 to 5 courses and the Chef prepared what can only be described as “Gourmet Packed Lunches”. The evening Chef delighted us with his inspiring dishes. We did not have a menu to choose from, we simply allowed the Chef to cook whatever he felt we would like, after asking us a few questions each day. Each night we were treated to many courses of superb quality food, which was a highlight of our whole trip to Java and Sumatra. All of the staff were unfailingly helpful despite our needing breakfast and transport very early each morning. We stayed mid-week and were the only guests and were looked after expertly. A bonus was a Javan Kingfisher photographed in the garden. A special thank you to Rei who went above and beyond to help us. We highly recommend The Tangko Inn Resort and wish that we could find places of a similar standard in our trips around the world.

There are a few things I like about this place: 1. a place close to the top of the puncak pass, so it's definitely cold 2. beautiful hotel environment, lots of trees, there is a lake, far from the crowd of the road. 3. comfortable rooms, clean and soft mattresses, warm water, thick and long bath towels, thick mattress blankets, mineral water and warm water are provided in the thermos, 4. the price is affordable 5. vacationing on the weekend of 05/11/2022, at check-in everything went well, the staff who received it were also kind and friendly, the bellboy who helped us was very friendly, we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the sunday night, but all disappeared when we checked out , we had to wait for the bellboy for 1 hour to help lift the goods, which in the end we had to bring ourselves to the place where we checked out, because the terrain was very uphill and there were many stairs my mother was very tired and so were we. we decided to call back the front office to help us, this also we have to wait for 15 minutes after we walk approximately 30 meters. all the beautiful impressions we felt disappeared because of the service that did not pay attention to the needs of guests. I will not return there again and will not recommend this place to my colleagues or family.

The package also included being taken on the back of motorcycles driven by the hotel’s staff to Gunung Gede NP very early each morning and picking us up late in the day. Rei was nothing short of meticulous in his planning and preparation and everything worked out exceptionally well. Our room was clean, spacious with two queen beds, hot water and a nice balcony/terrace. We had a different Chef and Chef’s assistant in the morning from the evening and both teams produced an amazing quality and quantity of food. Breakfast was often at 4.30am and had 4 to 5 courses and the Chef prepared what can only be described as “Gourmet Packed Lunches”. The evening Chef delighted us with his inspiring dishes. We did not have a menu to choose from, we simply allowed the Chef to cook whatever he felt we would like, after asking us a few questions each day. Each night we were treated to many courses of superb quality food, which was a highlight of our whole trip to Java and Sumatra. All of the staff were unfailingly helpful despite our needing breakfast and transport very early each morning. We stayed mid-week and were the only guests and were looked after expertly. A bonus was a Javan Kingfisher photographed in the garden. A special thank you to Rei who went above and beyond to help us. We highly recommend The Tangko Inn Resort and wish that we could find places of a similar standard in our trips around the world.

There are a few things I like about this place: 1. a place close to the top of the puncak pass, so it's definitely cold 2. beautiful hotel environment, lots of trees, there is a lake, far from the crowd of the road. 3. comfortable rooms, clean and soft mattresses, warm water, thick and long bath towels, thick mattress blankets, mineral water and warm water are provided in the thermos, 4. the price is affordable 5. Can make camping too 6. there is a villa for those who come (near the lake) I recommend it once for those who want to stay in the top pass area

This is a mature tourist area, there are many hotels, the competition is fierce, and life is very convenient. It's a slow pace here, and the restaurant outside closes early in the evening. This hotel is very affordable at this price, the room is big, the air is very good, the view here is also very beautiful, there are two mountains nearby. The hotel's free breakfast, although not many types, but full of fried rice, eggs and coffee. There are not many guests in the hotel, the small garden grass is very good, and the drone flew by the way. You have to drive by yourself here, and the main road has to drive several slopes to go up. The slopes in Indonesia look so steep, narrow and steep.

We had an absolutely excellent stay at The Tangko Resort Inn. We are bird watchers and before our stay had communicated with Rei at the Tangko Resort and had agreed a “package” for accommodation, all food, transport from Jakarta to the hotel, transport onwards to Carita and then from Carita back to Jakarta.
