What I like about Grand Mercure Ambassador is that they never lack the Hospitality that I need whenever I am abroad. From the reception staff, housekeeping and the restaurant, they are all very kind, courteous and helpful. The rooms and facilities on some floors were renovated. And the location is still one of the biggest positives of this hotel. Food assortment is still a little bit of issue specially if you are staying more than 3 days. Nevertheless, It is an excellent hotel with wonderful people.

I have always had a soft spot for this place because they have good Filipino bands playing in the basement restaurant. I finally stayed at this place years after visiting it. It was a nice place to stay, with friendly and efficient people. I wanted to stay again but for some reason the price spiked the following week so I had to opt for a cheaper place. It is hit or miss if it is within range of what I am willing to pay for a hotel of that quality. Overall, it is a good place and I hope to stay there again.

This is a newer hotel that is good for westerners in Changwon. Modern interior, but smaller front desk operation. The rooms have good ac and walk in shower. Smaller storage space. Breakfast can be included with the price. Good breakfast and coffee machine for me. Ask for a small omelette. I have stayed various places in Changwon and this is good, price conscious as well. The downtown area is closer to big stores for trip related items and many small downtown restaurants that are excellent, authentic.

Pros: Good water pressure. Good location of hotel. Lots of restaurants around Cons: The wedding hall is on the high floor, so the use of Elbe is not smooth at weekend wedding peak time. Wedding guests burst into Elbe at check-out time... The worst is breakfast. It was 7-9 o'clock operation time and I visited at 8 o'clock, and even if the customers with the tickets stood at the entrance, the staff just looked at and served. When I asked, I came and asked me to stand for 15 minutes because the order was pushed. Waiting? There are many empty seats, can't you sit and wait? I couldn't distinguish it, so I went to the hotel room and waited and came in 15 minutes. There were more than 50 seats in the empty seats, but the staff seemed to be a lack of Capa covering the order. If you can't respond to the number of staff and the number of customers, you can separate the seats that you can order rather than the suggestion to wait in the hotel room and reduce the inconvenience of moving to the remaining waiting seats. It looks more wise. So I waited in the hotel room for 15 minutes, and 2 menu materials were exhausted out of 5 menu. Generally, people who travel to Korea rarely go to Changwon. Changwon belongs to South Gyeongsang Province and is a small place close to Busan. Go there for. . . Can't say love. . . . 😆 This hotel is great. It seems to be a hotel run by a private owner. But it's very formal, and it's okay to rate stars. I give four stars. Not only the price is cheap, but the internal facilities are very good, the decoration is exquisite, the quality of the bed is excellent, and it is super clean. There were some minor problems when checking in, the boss did not receive the order from Ctrip. Finally, after calling Ctrip, the problem was solved. Should Ctrip reimburse me for long-distance calls? The boss is very enthusiastic and can't speak anything except Korean. However, it does not affect communication, because we have hands and feet, as well as facial expressions. We can use body language, right? The boss personally took me to the room and explained in detail how to use each facility. Barabara said a lot. I didn't understand a sentence, guess. Admiring my ability to understand, I completely guessed a key thing the boss said. That is, the TV has paid channels, and you can watch movies that adults love to watch^^ I think the boss often watches it, haha. But don't get me wrong with the boss, the boss is just very diligent in explaining everything that should be explained. Location, service and cleanliness were good but soundproof ㅠㅠ We were not very sensitive to noise, so we were well sleeped, but I think it would have been hard for those who were sensitive to noise ㅠㅠ It was warm and nice because there was an electrical panel on the bed!

Stay well. Overall, the rooms were so pretty and clean. There is a free standing bathtub and the bathroom tiles are pretty. The floor of the room was also tiles, so it was clean and convenient. It was good because it was not a carpet floor.

Some places were tired because there was no bathtub, but I was sorry that I couldn't get a semi-body bath, and some places had to rent because there was no charger, but both were provided here.
