Best Changsha Spa Hotels

Checked in on Sat 28th before my fiancé to arrange some things like wedding flowers, decorations etc. Katrina at reception was absolutely fantastic. She followed up on the requests I had and verified the Trip.com staff information which was sent earlier. She was extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful, diligent, and professional - a real asset to IHG. She took care of everything. She arranged the decorations to be done after we left for marriage registration so when I got back it would all be ready for my wife. The facilities and service like the 1st floor all day dining restaurant, the Sky27 bar and Intercontinental club on the 27th floor, were wonderful. The Latin band (Cuban / Colombian duo) were magnificent and quite friendly ✊ Breakfast boxes were arranged for our early departure on 31st. The taxi was ordered and promptly arrived ahead of time to collect us. Hotel staff checked if I was an IHG member and applied my discounts where relevant. Breakfast buffet and all day a La carte dining was wonderful. Shopping mall access through the hotel lobby is easily accessible and quite convenient. All in all, it was a marvellous few days at Intercontinental Changsha.

A very well kept established hotel with large room , clean, impressive toiletries ( Appelles brand ), excellently located to main tourist spots.Though Changsha is a place full of wonderful food ( chilli drenched fish head), there is a McDonald next door (just in case). The hotel staff also very polite and very kind in giving us free goodies bag ( full of local famous Hunan snacks) and by booking with Trip.com, was offered free most famous Local Bubble tea Cha Yan Yue Se 茶颜悦色 delivered to room. I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities. It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute! The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log. Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.) The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place. The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable. Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great. Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city. Definitely recommend staying here! This W Hotel flawlessly combines luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout hotel.

This is a glorified 4 star hotel. Other than the location, you will be disappointed with the overall hotel experience. It lacks the attention to detail to be a true 5 star hotel experience. A couple of examples; non-smoking rooms being ruined by smokers, the rainforest shower (top mounted shower head) didn’t work and was just an unpleasant drizzle, air-conditioning that just had a mind of its own with no ability to adjust to desired temperature, the bed being somehow both firm and soft. If you are accustomed to chain hotels, then the attention to detail at the Niccolo is missing!

The room is very clean and the aroma is very comfortable. The decoration style is simple, and the overall quality of the service personnel is also very high. Whether it is cleaning or checking in, everything is very smooth and comfortable. The service attitude is even better!! I left something at the hotel, called to verify the situation, and quickly mailed it. Thank you so much!

This is a really excellent hotel ! I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location is great and within easy reach of all main sites and the underground system. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I had dinner twice in the Chinese restaurant on 5th floor and both times this was excellent. However, the greatest asset of this hotel is definitely its staff. All staff members are all really efficient with a great attitude and also a nice smile. From the moment I entered until I left, it was right through an excellent experience with all the staff I came across, be it in reception, housekeeping, restaurant or concierge. I have to especially mention Jack, who I believe is the Head Concierge. I asked him how can I buy tickets for the river night cruise, and he arranged everything for me. He called the boat cruise company, bought the tickets for me, sent me the QR code, sent me very detailed on how to arrive at the pier, and sent me messages later in the evening to see whether I had arrived and whether I took the boat. He also gave me his contact details and asked me to call him if I encounter any issues or need any translations. This service attitude of this person is unbelievable and I really want to thank him for all his great support. I really recommend this hotel to whoever visits Changsha.

My second time staying here. Loved the service, cleanliness and location. The housekeeping team noticed that we loved their tea bags and left us a note to inform that they are giving us more of the teabags. Was also sick during the trip and they probably noticed that I downed many bottles of mineral water + meds on the table. They gave me more bottles of water than usual during their housekeeping duties. Love their attention to details and truly enjoyed my stay there! Scenery from the room was perfect as well.

The hotel has a good location and high cost performance. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff is efficient. The housekeeper Xiao Guo is very enthusiastic. He personally took me to the lobby to pick up porcelain and patiently introduced Changsha snacks and tourist attractions. I will stay at Huatian again when I come to Changsha next time.

The hotel is located in a prosperous area in the city center with convenient transportation. It is only a few minutes away from the subway station, which is convenient for shopping, eating and entertainment. The price is reasonable, and the environment and hygiene are better than hotels of the same price. Recommended! The room is clean, the service is warm, the breakfast is rich, and the cost-effectiveness is high. It is worth staying!

How should I put it? When I checked in, I asked not to be given the last room or a slightly quieter one, as I am sensitive to noise. Then I was given the second-to-last room facing the street, which was too noisy for me. I changed the room the next day, to the side that was not facing the street, but it was given the room next to the elevator fire extinguisher, and all kinds of noises outside were clearly heard. Damn, I just want to say that it can't meet my needs no matter what. Another point is that the hotel is large, but the restaurant is very small, and it is too crowded in the morning. The room type on the first day was not bad, but the room next to the elevator entrance on the second day was not good.
