"Good hotel if you have an early/late flight and want to be close to the airport"

"The hotel environment is decent, but there wasn't enough shampoo. The location is quite close to the airport, which is convenient if you're catching a flight. However, definitely avoid using Amap (Gaode Maps) for navigation here; it directed me to the wrong entrance, not the passenger drop-off point."

📍 WXF2+G42, Aklan West Road, Caticlan

"We reserved for 3 rooms for 13pax: 1 family room (Php 5100), 1 deluxe room (Php2100) and 1 standard room (Php2000). Upon check-in we were told that the family room was occupied and only 3 standard room were available. 😔 we had no choice but to squeeze in those 3 small rooms. We were offered to have free breakfast but we did not accept since our flight to Mla is very early the following day. We paid total of Php9200+ but we were refunded Php1500 only. Very bad experience 😔"

Vieda Hotel

Vieda Hotel ★★★

📍 Main Road, Caticlan

"Small hotel with decent rooms. We only stayed one night; our flight was canceled at the last minute, and we had to find impromptu accommodation. From beginning to end, the service was excellent. They helped us carry our luggage up and down the stairs, allowed us to check out a little later without any fuss or extra charges, and even arranged for a tuk-tuk to take us to the airport. Obviously, it's not a 5-star hotel, but the bed was large and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, there were more amenities than we expected, the room was spacious, the shower had very hot water, and there was a large, good-quality flat-screen TV. It's true that the toilet had a slightly strong odor (but it was only noticeable if the bathroom door was closed, and it could be easily masked with a good air freshener). The power went out several times, but not at times when we particularly needed it, and we did find a few insects in the bathroom at night, which is completely understandable given the surrounding wild vegetation. The only thing I did find slightly unpleasant was the constant noise from outside the hotel (vehicle traffic, other guests making a racket in the hallway, roosters crowing loudly early in the morning...). But overall, a very good experience."

"Me and my partner stayed here after a day of ferries and buses, it was exactly what we needed, location could not be any better right next to the port for onward travel. The room was really clean and modern which is a standard above most Philippine hotels for the price. The check in was easy and hassle free especially given the time of arrival around 00.00. AC worked perfectly and free things such as shampoo, soap, coffee and cold/hot water just helps a stay be that little bit better. Would recommend for anyone travelling to Boracay."
