"We had booked 3 premium rooms at The Creek spa and resort shantiniketan on october 12 - 14. We would have rated it 5 but we were forced to give less for the only reason ( and a very important one) that there was a family of stray cats mother and 4 kittens outside our rooms (302, 303, 304) at all times. We complained several times at the reception amd housekeeping but to no avail. Finally when the mother cat almost attacked my son , we created a hue at the reception dis the GM and F&B mangaer both came. But they both had the most 'what can we do about it ' attitude and were extremely rude and told us to just stomp our feet or reusiculous things like that. We had paid extra coz if the balconies attached to the rooms, which none of us could enjoy or make use of ultimately!! So it's a great property and good food, excellent service but an indifferent manager who makes sure the guest will not return. Go at your own risk, especially if you book rooms 301 - 304. (Also the room fridges were not working in most of the rooms )"

The bungalow felt instantly welcoming, almost like staying at a friend’s home. My dad spent his mornings reading by the window while I helped the host plan our day’s wanderings through the haat and local crafts stalls. In the evenings, we’d gather over simple, delicious Bengali dinners and share stories with other guests. It wasn’t just a stay — it felt like being part of Santiniketan’s rhythm for a few days."
