"Rydges made this stay go from good to genuinely great. The room was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location near the airport terminals is extremely convenient, and the building itself offers excellent amenities in a pleasant setting.
On the day of my departure, I accidentally left my earbuds behind. The staff contacted me promptly, though by then I had already left Australia. They kindly arranged to ship the earbuds back to me, which speaks volumes about their commitment to guests.
At a time when service can feel increasingly transactional, Rydges stands out for its professionalism and genuine care. I’m very grateful for the experience."

"Great backpackers hostel that says exactly what it is on the tin. Receptionists were super friendly and had great knowledge of local spots and bus routes to get to places. Great social areas with ping pong/darts and surf boards to rent. Private room wasn’t the cleanest but better than expected. Bit bright on a morning but it gets you out of bed! Pool looked alright as well."

"The motel is better than I expected. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the airport. There is a bus stop at the door, which is very convenient. The front desk was very welcoming and gave breakfast, milk cereal and bread. The room is ok, tidy."
