Royal Ushaka Hotel Morningside ★★★
"The pillows were dirty and had stains. Used toilet paper. You could hear everything happening on the other room"
Mackaya Bella Guest House ★★★★
"What a wonderful stay I had at Mackaya Bella. Nicki and Mike are most gracious hosts who have created a wonderful little oasis. It really felt like a home away from home and since it was a working holiday for me, it was lovely to come back to such a warm and welcoming space. Will definitely be back, it's now a firm favourite spot. Special mention to the wonderful Sli and her delicous daily breakfasts."
268 on Ridge Guesthouse ★★★
"This accommodation is basic but neat and comfortable. We arrived late in the evening but there was someone waiting to receive us. The garden rooms are small but we were just looking for a decent shower, toilet and a comfortable place to sleep. There is DSTV. The parking was fine and safe. Some items like furniture may need some repair or replacement. I can overlook the minor repair issues based on the need just to have a clean and neat place to sleep over"
Madeline Grove Bed & Breakfast ★★★
"the best stay with my children, service was tops, the ladies (Staff) were friendly and the best 2 gentlemen (managers) assisted us with everything, and we were happy, the place its clean and beautiful, most the is a peace of mind. even referred a friend same day was leaving excellent service indeed"
Grange Gardens Hotel ★★★
"I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. I checked in early in the morning to prepare for an event and spent a few hours there. Ultimately, I decided to check out due to the excessive noise from the staff and the thin room door, which failed to block the constant commotion. Additionally, a nearby construction site created relentless banging noises. The hotel provided low-quality, one-ply toilet paper, which is unacceptable for any establishment, and the bedding was unclean with noticeable stains, the rooms are small and bathrooms barely have enough space to comfortably sit on the loo. The location is on the border of Morningside, so also not the best. On a positive note, the security staff member was very friendly and kindly waited with me for my Uber without me having to ask. However, the overall experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this place."
Coastlands Musgrave Hotel and Convention Centre ★★★★
"The hotel staff is very professional and friendly. The food is really nice. I really enjoyed my stay."
Roseland House ★★★★
"Smaller than expected. As you walk in. Greeted by a nasty disgusting sweat stained couch that looks like it was brought from a dump. When I asked the host to please bring a blanket to cover the couch. They said sure thing. And never returned. Toilet was cracked. Shower door on last legs. Bedroom and bathroom the walls and ceiling where moulded. Bed had stains in it. The blanket ontop of the bed was very used and abused. Then other tenants just come home at all times of the evening and morning making hell of a noise. 3 good things. Bed was comfy. Shower was amazing besides the door. And Sanele who checked us out on Saturday morning was very very pleasant to deal with. "
Musgrave Avenue Guest Lodge ★★★
" Very conveniently located, easy access to both N2 & N3. The walking distance to a decent shopping mall was a win for me!"
