We went to the hotel 2 days before Ramadan. While the service was good at the entrance, we had difficulty finding someone to talk to in the restaurant. Some sections were not open yet due to the season. The number of employees increased during the holiday, but this time it was also very crowded. The landscaping of the hotel is wonderful, but the rooms are old and the cleanliness was not very good. The pet acceptance area is very nice.
Belenli Resort Hotel

This is an honest review of how I found this hotel. I'm not a hotel snob in the slightest, but know a good one when I see it. I think with a few tweaks, this hotel could be very good. Location: Hidden away, if you want a place for a good night out, this isn't it. If you're there for sun, then you'll find that. Nearby Belek old town, not much other than the same old knock off clothes shops. Sunset Restaurant for the football is a good spot! There is a Burger King and Domino's nearby. £20 return taxi to Land of Legends. 10 min free shuttle to beach generally was alright and came/went when advertised. You just have to follow the orange towels. If you want to go anywhere, book on Uber (Yellow Cab Taxis) and you'll feel safer. Check in: Checked in late, 1.40am, was speedy enough, young lad spoke no English. Thankfully, Orhan the manager was there and I felt welcome from him as he spoke English. There was a Russian lady who worked the desk. She was downright rude and abrasive. Room: This is the highlight of the hotel. We stayed in a bigger room, Queen size bed, small single bed. Brand new hotel, so clean and well maintained by cleaning staff, who work round the clock. Nice shower, comfy bed. Only let down was balcony. Very shallow and with only one plastic chair you couldn't sit out there both of you! Ask for 2 keys, you only get 1 when you check in which is bizarre. Food: Very same-y and tailored very much to Turkish/Russian. Dinner from 19:00-21:00 however GO TO DINNER BEFORE 20:15 as it seems they stop cooking then. They were turning lights off in the restaurant at 20:55 basically wanting you out by then. Never experienced that before! Shambles. Snack bar near pool decent, good pizza and chips. Burgers okay. Had this instead of lunch half the trip. Pool: Pool was fine, well maintained. Saw regularly it getting PH/temp checked. Cleaned at night. You have to be tactical if you want the sun all day as lots of the areas round the pool are shaded which is crazy! Water slides are class. Lifeguard very relaxed. Pool bar Fatma is lovely and serves drinks most of the day. Usual watered down alcohol but a decent selection of that and soft drinks. I always got a decent spot in the sun (although by 9am, most beds are taken). Entertainment (or lack of): They advertised lots of activities, but there was none. My Missus constantly asked (5 days in a row) and was always told a BS reason for it not to be happening. Turns out the ”animation team” is the DJ. Calling him a DJ is being very nice. Spotify all day, loud banging music which continues right into the night. Every night the same, him thinking everyone wants to listen to his set which is the same banging headache inducing nonsense. There is a dart board, and table tennis but it's very much please yourself. One positive, if you have children, they will be well looked after from what I saw. The kids animator worked tirelessly within her hours and seemed to do it all on her own! Face painting, games,

When this review was written I was in resort in a group of 8, it has taken Tripadvisor 4 days to review it - I am re-writing after inserting the word “probable”. This was our 10th Belek trip and approx 35th overall for the group. It is, unfortunately, also a first really bad experience. Altho inferior to several others we have stayed at (Voyage, Gloria, Rixos, even Cornelia Diamond) there are good things about this hotel: - the friendly & attentive staff; - the a la carte restaurants, - the golf course is good (mid to high-ranking for Belek). But, one big problem eclipses all else - a lack of reasonable empathy from the hotel when things go wrong - particularly concerning when other guests were clearly at risk… After the buffet meal on night two, three of our group went down with an aggressive sickness & diarrhoea bug which saw me continually sick for 9 hours, confined to my room for almost 48 hours and still suffering “symptoms” after 4 days. Needless to say, quite apart from the lost holiday time & cost, this was an unpleasant experience. Our group has, without seeking them out, also come across two other groups who described 5 & 4 people respectively with the same symptoms. This could have been avoided by the hotel as their problems commenced after mine/ours! One round of golf was missed by several of us and my pre-arranged trip to Antalya had to be cancelled. I am a walking golfer but was forced to rent buggies at costs €25-€50 for the three remaining rounds, simply to get round the course whilst debilitated. Ironically, this money goes to …. Cornelia … & they wouldn’t even cover this!! The bug was reported to Guest Relations on day #1. We were advised that “if your colleagues can’t come down to the doctors office, our nurse can visit them.” In other words the doctor would not come up. The nurse was declined as no apparent purpose would be served. It was physically impossible for me to visit the doctor’s office without risking an embarrassing “accident” - maybe on the foyer floor. Once partially recovered, I visited hotel management to describe our disappointment and seek some form of reasonable recompense for wasted time & money. The response from Elena, Reception Manager (plus my observations): - only the three of us had complained (there are other groups also with illness); - the bug was more likely caused by hot days + chilly nights (we were inside and, anyway, it’s c 18 degrees C at night?); - there are no other, more senior management you can speak to; - if we had doctor reports they would have taken us more seriously (it was impossible to leave the hotel room, we had not been advised we would need a doctor to witness our suffering and our illness had been reported on day #1). This last point is particularly irritating in view of the doctor’s apparent refusal to leave his office. We are effectively being accused of lying. I arranged a meeting with the hotel General Manager to take this further but, when

What an amazing second visit to this hotel, still surpasses all my expectations. The service from all the waiters/waitresses/bar staff is incredible. You could be sat for less than minute in any of the lounges/bars before a waiter will approach you and ask what you would like to drink. We met Ramazan head bar man from pool/bloom bar on our first day, he made some amazing cocktails, with care and attention. He made sure we were looked after when we would watch the evening shows in the Bloom bar. The espresso martinis were great. Thank you for all your efforts and going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We also met Emrah the Voyage Assistant he checked us in, but we also met him around the hotel during our stay, as this was a holiday for our anniversary he added a few extra touches to make this a special stay, he made things happen that potentially wouldn't have without his help. Thank you very much for everything. Whilst sat around the Adult pool Astley a waitress on rollerskates was extremely attentive and ensured we had drinks/snacks as and when we wanted, thank you. Due to the weather not being as great this time of the year we spent more time indoors but we still managed to enjoy ourselves and find a place to relax e.g. in the spa, coffee house, sports bar. There were numerous other staff members that made our stay that bit special and they are listed below and I wanted to recognise their efforts. Siyar/Azada/Ahmet - cuisine 24, Dogan - bar room bar, Hilal/Orhan- pattiserie lounge, Sidat - bloom bar, Zhanargul - Zen restaurant.

Xanadu Resort - High Class All Inclusive

The hotel is old, rooms, toilets in the public areas especially. If you come to the pool bar you can wait forever for the service - no one will attend, they will turn around from you while walking past you. I don’t know why is it called “high class all inclusive “… as there were no fresh juice, Red Bull casted 3 eur, they did virgin mojito cocktail with mint leaves already brown color. Animation is average during the day, better in the evening. Not enough Sun beds - you need to hunt for it. Towels close at 6 pm when a lot of kids are still in the pool and need a towel; and no lifeguard. Territory with the swimming pool is beautiful.
