"Central location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is."

"What a lovely hotel !! For the price I paid I was very impressed with the hotel and the service. Very clean, plenty of staff. Room spotless and new and bright. Shower marvelous, as was breakfast. They kept my bag for me so I could have a wander around before my train home. Superb. Will definitely stay again. Bath was beautiful in sunset."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bath! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful, and although we arrived early, our rooms were already prepared and we were allowed to check in early—such a lovely surprise! The warm, freshly made cookies on arrival were a delicious treat, and we were also welcomed with drinks and popcorn, which was especially appreciated on such a hot day. We had booked three rooms, and all of them were perfect—spotlessly clean, tidy, and very comfortable. We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised us with complimentary drinks, balloons, and even mini desserts, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The restaurant staff were just as impressive—so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone. Overall, it was an incredible stay. Thank you to all the amazing staff at DoubleTree by Hilton Bath for making our visit so memorable. Highly recommend!"

"Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave. The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted. Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded. The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet. "

"Small luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question. The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival. Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it."

"The location is far away, but there are buses leaving the center within a few minutes' walk. The room is quite big and unique. There is also a living room with a sofa. The receptionist was nice. After a night out, I called an uber on my way back."

"The suite we booked was upgraded to a family suite. It's a very British country hotel. I didn't expect its restaurant to be awarded three stars by Rossete. No wonder the breakfast is better than the Savoy Hotel in London. We had dinner once and it was surprisingly good, and the bread was unique. The hotel's garden is also a natural English-style garden, with a little messy feel that took a lot of effort to create. In addition, the cookies delivered every day are so delicious that they become my thoughts every day."
