"Good location, near a tram stop and SBB, and walking distance to the city centre. City tax entitles you to free transport with the BaselCard (though only after you check in, I think, so if coming from Basel Bad you need to make your own way there). Helpful reception staff, quick check-in. Price was quite good for a short-notice booking, around 70€ equivalent on a Friday. Room (triple) was a reasonable size. The ensuite facilities in the room are rather poorly installed as an afterthought: the toilet is not properly separated from the rest of the room and the shower pod door is not flush, so water would leak all over the floor. Fine for a night or two, probably would stay here again if needed but hope they can improve the mod cons."

"This hotel was a great value for our stopover from France to Zurich, Switzerland. The rooms were clean and quite spacious, with lovely views of the Basel cityscape from the window. The hotel's decor felt very refined and elegant throughout. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and very plentiful! All the staff were also very friendly and helpful."

The tram stop right in front of the hotel made transportation extremely convenient, and its location was also very close to the city center. Thank you for the two wonderful days. "Up to the center 20 minutes by bus (by Visitor card from the hotel free),but the apartments are very cool,clean,”fresh,” comfortable.Cool common zones,in the neighboring building-commerce,theatre,food stores.stopped yet. The pillow is only uncomfortable, very soft 😅"

"The front desk is very friendly and there is no problem if you don’t understand the language. (gesturing) Check-in will give you a coupon for the Basel area. Next to the coop supermarket and bus station, it is also very close to the train station! The bed was very comfortable, I had a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was very clean. "This has been one of the best stays in Switzerland! The reception staff were at their best in customer service! Kudos to them! "Breakfast is available if requested, but it is very easy to use the fully equipped kitchen which is mostly used quite well by the guests. Access by lift is available. The bunks are quite wide and comfortable and there is lockable storage space. The site is very near to public transport which is convenient. In summer there are eateries and drinking places right next door. There are food shops nearby. Toilets and showers are all good and kept clean."

"The hotel is located near the train station and in the city center. The room is beautifully decorated with a very clean bathroom. The beds and duvets are wonderful. The breakfast was good, though for a 4-star hotel, I expected it to be a bit more luxurious. However, everything was there for a good start to the day. You can park your car in the hotel's parking garage, but reservations are required. I definitely recommend staying here."

"Basel was our final stop in Switzerland this year, a border city spanning only 24 square kilometers. Despite its border location, it's very developed and modern. **Environment:** Among hotels like Victoria, Mövenpick, Radisson, and Novotel, we chose this 3-star option. It's directly opposite the SBB train station, and the main bus terminal is just 100 meters from the lobby exit. Although it's a transport hub, the area is decent; there are a few homeless people around, but its convenience makes up for it. **Facilities:** There's no fitness center, but you can pay to use a partner facility. The lobby bar is alright, not too crowded, with a nice corner view of the street. Coffee runs between 6-7 Swiss francs. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional, and the bathroom is quite spacious, which is great for travelers. **Cleanliness:** The common areas, like the lobby and hallways, are well-maintained, and the room was very tidy. You can definitely trust the cleanliness standards of Swiss hotels. **Service:** Check-in and check-out were both quick. Our room was ready well in advance, and luggage storage was straightforward. They provide a Basel Card, which offers free use of all city public transport and half-price entry to some museums. I didn't particularly notice any other services."
