"€310 for two nights including breakfast. Hotel is well located at the top of the town near the Popes’ Palace. Everything is walkable. Room was small but adequate Safe was useless. Didn’t realise until leaving that it wasn’t fixed so it could have been lifted and taken Breakfast was mediocre. Usual scrambled egg mush made from packet mix. Little sausages. Fruit salad was mainly chopped apple and contained grapefruit- not suitable for those in statins. Tiny dishes and glasses Staff were nice"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Papal Palace! However, the facilities are on par with a budget motel, definitely not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel; it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. Perhaps because it's an old building, the hallways are incredibly narrow and dim. The room was tiny, with no trash can except for a miniature one in the bathroom. There wasn't even a proper desk, just a small 40cm ledge. No gym or pool. The floorboards creaked loudly with every step, making me worried about disturbing the neighbors. There's central air conditioning, but no matter what temperature you set it to, the air coming out was the same as outside. No complimentary bottled water. The most frustrating thing was that the housekeeping staff would always mess up my toiletries, and one time my razor was even disassembled—I suspect the cleaner might have used it themselves 🤢"

"There was a cleaning mop in the closet of the room, and there was a hole about the size of a baseball in diameter in the wall under the desk. A mouse? The view from the window was far from the view of the Papal Palace in Avignon; it was a parking lot and a garbage dump. Since it was an apartment building, I was going to cook, but when I opened the lid of the electric kettle to fill it with water, it was dirty, so I gave up on cooking. There is an intermarché next door, which is convenient for shopping. The hotel does not have USB ports. I stayed for 3 nights, but there were only enough towels for 2 nights. The hotel staff were only there from 8 am to 8 pm and left at their scheduled time, so they probably couldn't do anything in an emergency. There was no explanation at check-in, so when I checked out, I was asked where to return the key and we looked for it together. It might be okay if you just need a place to sleep."
