"The location is excellent, very close to Sky Tower, Albert Park, McDonald's, pharmacies, and more, making it incredibly convenient for dining and getting around. The room was spotless and fantastic. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming; there was even a thoughtful Chinese-speaking lady. I sprained my ankle, and they provided ice packs multiple times, even helping to deliver my takeout order to the room – I was truly grateful for that. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Auckland. Highly recommend!"
"Four Points Truly Deserves the High Rating!
Had a really pleasant stay here. The room was spotless and smelled fresh, and the bathroom worked perfectly—none of those annoying plumbing issues you sometimes find in other hotels.
While the view from my room was average, you can easily upgrade to a Sky Tower view for just a little more. The breakfast was great, you can even build your own Big Breakfast, which definitely helps save around $30 compared to eating out. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank, Four Points is an easy choice. Highly recommended!"
"The room is amazing. Clean room and great room service. They fulfilled my request even in the middle of the night. Location is perfect, able to get to queen street by just a couple minutes of walk."
"Decent Budget Stay with a Few Setbacks
The property is about a 25–30 minute drive from the airport via Uber, and we paid NZD 48 for the ride. Check-in was smooth ,we got our room key within 5 minutes. We booked for 2 nights and paid less than expected compared to other hotels in Auckland.
The room was basic, as expected for the price. However, we had issues with the electricity ,the circuit would trip whenever we plugged in the heater provided by the hotel, making it difficult to stay warm. On our last night, the lights kept turning on and off, and we had to rely on our phone flashlights since we didn’t want to keep calling reception.
On the bright side, the WiFi was strong enough to play PUBG without any problems. The location is also great , we enjoyed a morning walk to the Sky Tower and nearby parks. There are several restaurants within walking distance too.
Overall, it’s okay for a short budget stay, but the electrical issues definitely need to be addressed."
"The room was fairly clean, although a bit dusty (quick fix by opening the window to let the air circulate). The location is fantastic, being near Karangahape Road, meaning you can get to either downtown or Ponsonby on foot within 20 minutes. Not sure what amenities they have as I did not look around but the building looked fairly new and trendy."
"Very spacious, bigger room than expected, very friendly staff helping with finding a rental car, a mot of ueseful equipment like a washing machine and powder but sometimes it is slightly damaged (shower door not fully closing) or could be cleanlier (sinks), however the important things like bed and blanketd were comfy and clean and i would definitely go again"
"Loved this hotel! If you’re ever in Auckland and you’re not sure where to stay, I really recommend this hotel!
Clean bathroom, clean room, has all the basic amenities and walking distance to eateries as well as the harbour + sky tower :)
Great service and staff were all really friendly! I appreciate the hospitality and thank you for reserving the car parking for my family and I :)"
"The hotel is just everything you need in Auckland. We booked a one-bedroom suite, with a double bed and a sofa bed that can fit us 3 well. There are enough amenities for travellers abroad from washing/dryer machine, microwave, oven, fridge, stove, kitchenware, dining table. Housekeeping is daily so this helps clear the rubbish in the room much. Staff is helpful and you get to use anytime fitness for free (we didn't use it though).
Walking distance to 24/7 shop, Woolworths, Sky Tower, Les Mills Auckland City, Britomart, University of Auckland.
The only downsides for us are unstable hot shower and air con is a bit stingy. But during our stay it's cold enough that we don't need Aircon.
We'll definitely come back here if we travel to Auckland."
"What a great spot, amazing views, so close to everything.
Bed was very comfortable, amenities were perfect. so clean and tidy and a nice basket of goodies to enjoy.
Our only negative was being right by front door when other guests came in at 3am, noisily chattering outside in the hall way and doors banging closed. (for other guests reading this please be mindful of this when you are coming in at night)
Other than that we had a lovely stay. Highly recommend."

AAnonymous UserOverall is fine, but hotel is inflexible in making some changes just due to we booked through trip.com. I bought a room for 2 nights in a separate bookings which the second night come with breakfast while the first night does not. Due to my flight schedule, I request to swap the breakfast to first night and is being rejected. Reason being I booked in separate booking and through agency, they couldn’t do any changes about it.
Well, this reason does not really sound convincing for me, because the breakfast is buffet style, is not a difficulty to add another 2 person in I guess. Yet I am not asking for free, I had paid for it.
GGuest Userhad to book a lastmin overnight stay due to flight delay. Can take yellow bus or an Uber to the hotel. Price is the same if you are 2 adults. Note that no supermarket near the hotel but the restaurant inside is surprisingly good and affordable. No complaint.
Room is just standard and clean.
GGuest UserHave stayed here before and find it the best value for a place to stay overnight close to the airport with a free shuttle. Reception staff pleasant on arrival and departure. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast but looks nice. Would stay here again if the price remains lower than other options.
DDoct MOHSIN ALIDelux room is perfect, staffs are cooperative, decent environment, highly recommended. Positive points pick/drop services are available.
Suggestions: try to check the room as queen room have shower tap issues ,small issues but hopefully solve it; also provide water , spoons in each room. Overall rate 5/5.
XXiaoliangxuechangThe hotel boasts an elegant ambiance, well-equipped facilities, and attentive, thoughtful service, ensuring guests feel incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with soft, plush bedding, making for an exceptional stay. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with delicious options that cater to diverse tastes. Its prime location offers convenient transportation, with an abundance of attractions and dining options nearby. The staff are warm, friendly, and highly responsive; their meticulous and exceptionally detailed service is truly impressive. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this place is an excellent choice! The value for money is outstanding; it's truly worth every penny, and I highly recommend it to every traveler! I look forward to staying here again to experience this warmth and professionalism once more!
GGuest UserFriendly staff, one of the employees gave us some wrong information but it didn’t hinder our experience, the staff member that drove us to the airport was very friendly and punctual, very happy about a free airport shuttle service and good value for money hotel, would stay there again 😊
TTaylor Alicia JosephineBeing in town for an overnight staycation with attending to Auckland Cabaret Festival event, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Marsden Viaduct Hotel. My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony view and bubble bath to pamper in as highlights. Within close walking distance to bars, restaurants and a captivating vista of the viaduct, it’s a wonderful way to feel elsewhere on holiday whilst being in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!
GGuest UserThe outside of the hotel looks a bit crappy but the room is neat and clean.
The location is amazing because it is really super close to the airport and they offer shuttle service.
Service was good but there was no reception and had to go to the motel next door, but the staff there was very helpful.
王王All aspects of the hotel are acceptable, but please pay attention to the issue of refund
A deposit of 150 yuan is required at check-in. When you swipe your credit card, you are asked whether you want to spend or pre-authorize.
Check out to confirm that there is no loss deduction, and no refund will be seen after five days, call to ask, saying that the operation failed when refunding, and ask me if I have another card
I didn’t argue too much and provided another card number, but obviously, my card is always easy to use, and why not contact the customer if the refund fails? They have phone and email
Guests staying please keep the check-in date and room number, so as to avoid similar situations, you can make it clear
