The hotel is a bit far from the city, the traffic is not very convenient, the facilities are very general, and the price is relatively high. In general, the hotel is not cost-effective, and many of them are travelled in the past.

I feel that this Ctrip did not write clearly, this hotel is clearly a motel, but nothing is marked, we were dumbfounded when we arrived, the hotel could not see any hotel lobby, and it was directly open on the side of the road. The hotel, the first floor arranged for us, is equivalent to opening the door directly to the side of the road. It is possible for people passing by to pry at your door. The most important thing is that any information of the occupants is not required. How complicated the staff is, of course, there are advantages, the room can cook, the hotel is next to the supermarket, you can buy things to cook, but the advantages and disadvantages are obvious, depending on how you weigh, we can completely live in a four-star hotel, I didn't expect to live in a motel
📍It is relatively close to One Tree Hill. There is a shopping mall nearby. There are drugstores and supermarkets in the shopping mall. It is about ten minutes' drive from the Sky Tower and the port. It is more convenient to drive by yourself. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is not big but enough for guests to park.
🍃This is a hotel run by Chinese, and everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff seems to be Chinese. Friendly for people who don't speak English well. The front desk is not 24 hours a day, like most New Zealand hotels.
🌟The facilities are average and a bit old. The air conditioner didn't turn on the hot air. I don't know what happened. There was a loud noise in the room when I took a shower... I stayed for three days in a row and all the tea bags and coffee rolls🧻 were replenished. Only facial tissues were replenished on the second and third days. Ten pictures...other than that everything is okay, there are shampoo and shower gel, and it's quite quiet at night.
🎀There is a small kitchen with complete tableware (knives, forks, cups and dishes), a microwave, a refrigerator and a sink.
We like this Hotel and stay here each time we go to Auckland. It's within walking distance to Westfield Mall, cafes and the train station. The room is clean and tidy, maybe a bit dated but perfect for staying a night or two, the only thing we didn't enjoy was the very noisy guests in the next room!
The resort is located by the sea and has a beautiful surroundings. From the room, you can see the sea and the black beach. The rooms are spacious, tall and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Although breakfast was included, I went to dinner at nine o'clock and there was almost nothing, and no more food such as juice yogurt, no one cleaned the table, so I stopped going to breakfast the next day. The service for dinner was very good.
Overall it's quite good. If you want to cook, the supporting facilities are also very complete. It's close to the University of Auckland and is usually relatively quiet. It's not far from the business district and can be reached in 10 minutes' walk.
This hotel was recommended by my friend who used to work here.
I requested a high floor and it was granted so the room’s view of the harbor is 🤩 (12th floor Social King Room).
It’s the first time that a radio was turned on as I entered the room. I even thought my next room neighbor’s music was that loud. I didn’t expect it that you can slide the door from the toilet so you can have a full view of the harbour. I liked the room very much.
Thankful that I was allowed to check in early. Appreciate it a lot! I intentionally left my puffy jacket and left a note about it. Whoever owns it now, please take care of it.
I’ll be back when I go back to Auckland. Thanks M Social Team! 9/18-9/19
There is basically nothing to complain about in terms of facilities, hygiene, environment and service, which is in line with Hilton standards. We came here for the sea view of the pier, and we were not disappointed. It is less than 5 minutes' walk to the pier of fuller360 to Waiheke Island, which is super convenient for taking a boat. Fish restaurant is at the end and has a view of the sea on both sides. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Although it is close to the pier, it doesn't feel noisy.

AAylwinDBooked Novotel at AKL airport since it was the closest hotel. Room was fantastic and since we had a flight out the next day, saved a lot of stress of getting a shuttle bus with our bags. The room was furnished with a very comfortable bed and bathroom was huge. Even though the AKL airport runway was visible from the room, due to double pane glass windows, we did not hear sounds of jets taking off or landing.
Highly recommended if staying to catch early flight out to save time and hassle
GGuest UserI’ve awarded this hotel high marks on the basis of the type of hotel that it is ie room only. You won’t find a restaurant or gym but you do get a well equipped, comfortable, modern, tastefully decorated room, a nice lobby and friendly staff. It’s also in a great location, very close to Spark Arena, Britomart and the waterfront. I’d book again.
GGuest UserSkycity is our go to place to stay. Very clean, well appointed, great location and with the added bonus Skydrive bus at side of hotel a huge saving compared to taxi/Uber/shuttle.
EEstoniaIt was my first time to travel to New Zealand. I originally only planned to travel to the South Island, but due to transfer problems, I had to stay in Auckland for an extra day to wait for my transfer, so I chose to rest at the Holiday Inn near the airport. It is really close to the airport and only takes an Uber. Arrived in 7 minutes, very convenient. The hotel is resort-style, with a swimming pool and garden pavilion. It has a large space and is suitable for a family vacation. It's just that the hotel service is a bit slow. I had to wait until close to 5 o'clock to check in before getting a room. It took a long time to get another room, and I had to climb stairs to the second floor. It was different from the room I originally booked. It was a bit disappointing.
The hotel's breakfast is very rich. It is a buffet style with many varieties. It is the only place worth recommending.
JJon-MLHKThe experience was mostly good... staff were quite helpful except for 1 thing.... (see below); place was well located, clean.. ambient temperature was good even though there was only 1 a/c unit.. maybe be different in high summer..
encountered 2 issues:-
1) The door to balance is left opened.... hotel would not provide a key to lock it... as no key is given out... the lock may be incorporated in the door handle when lifted.. appeared this particular door may not be installed properly..
2) Very strange - The receptionist refused to reserved a parking space for me for some reason... (under 3 separately occassion, day after check-in, day before needing to use and the actual morning of the day of use).. and when i drove the rental car to the hotel.. it was full as apparently; i did not book....
GGuest UserThis hotel is a great value choice if you're arriving in Auckland and want to establish a base. My sister and I stayed there on 10th-11th July as I had made the reservation because of the hotels proximity to Auckland Airports and to Snap Rentals, a car hire company (very good) I have used before in NZ. We called the hotel reception and shortly afterwards they collected us (Exit door 9) in a minibus. Our transfer to our hotel took about 12 minutes. Check-in was quick, our room was very clean, en-suite, the beds were comfortable and we had a fridge and usual toiletry accessories. Food and beverages were still available (at 23.20hrs) from the bar.
We both slept well and the next morning, a transfer service was available back to the airport to very near the car hire business location, but the driver very kindly took me directly to Snap Rentals, and I returned to the hotel which has easily accessible ample free parking to collect my sister.
As the hotel had been so good, fantastic value and the staff had been so helpful, I decided to re-book for 15th-16th July for the night before our return flight to the UK. Once again, a great value price with the helpful service as on our previous visit. My sister ordered some food on this occasion - and it was very good and again, great value. Don't be put off by the remarkably keen prices, this is a great little hotel with more to offer than we had time to enjoy (swimming pool etc). I'd highly recommend it.
GGuest UserI am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's proximity to the airport made it an ideal choice for my travels, but it was the outstanding service, impressive facilities, and delicious food that truly made my stay memorable.
The service at the Gateway Airport Hotel was top-notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the warm greeting at check-in to the helpful assistance with my luggage, every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and professional.
The hotel's facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a convenient workspace. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with a great shower and plenty of towels. I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible.
One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and memorable place to stay in Auckland.

王王All aspects of the hotel are acceptable, but please pay attention to the issue of refund
A deposit of 150 yuan is required at check-in. When you swipe your credit card, you are asked whether you want to spend or pre-authorize.
Check out to confirm that there is no loss deduction, and no refund will be seen after five days, call to ask, saying that the operation failed when refunding, and ask me if I have another card
I didn’t argue too much and provided another card number, but obviously, my card is always easy to use, and why not contact the customer if the refund fails? They have phone and email
Guests staying please keep the check-in date and room number, so as to avoid similar situations, you can make it clear
