This was our last stop on our trip around New Zealand. We took the ferry to Devonport and had brunch at the Esplande before going to the airport. We made allowance for the staff who were clearly busy trying to set up for the day but our group of four loved everything about it. We are easy going customers so it did not matter if the service was a bit slow, we were quite contented to sit in the window seats and watch the world go by. Brunch came and was fantastic. It was the best way to wind up our travels and we would certain go there again

This was our last stop on our trip around New Zealand. We took the ferry to Devonport and had brunch at the Esplande before going to the airport. I was very happy with our stay. The units are large with great ocean views. Walking distance from the Bayswater Ferry. Free onsite parking. A small gym with cardio equipment. The bed was comfortable, good sized bathroom and ample shortage space. Great balcony off our bedroom and lounge areas. Having the separate lounge is always handy. A great kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine and all you would need to make a meal. The motel could do with a few handy man chores and the onsite restaurant is close but honestly for the price I have no complaints at all. Attentive staff. Thank you

From check in to check out everyone I dealt with was so polite and helpful! The Duty Manager Lucas was so accommodating when I requested to extend my stay due to family circumstances. The buffet breakfast was a delicious spread of all things breakfast! Room service was fast and the food arrived hot! The location is perfect to all Auckland City amenities. And the Rose Gardens across the road are a perfect morning stroll.

We were pretty pleased with our choice of this hotel. We were going to Hamilton and it was really easy to just walk across the park. The hotel itself was fine. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was roomy enough. The bed was comfy. The shower was OK - I like shower heads that are adjustable and this wasn't. The facilities were all fine. The staff were great and I have to mention Ola Siale who went above and beyond to get my IPad back to me. I left it in the bedroom by mistake - I phoned as soon as I realised and I could see that it was there. She organised to have it posted back to me and it arrived safely - really appreciated that extra effort - thanks Ola!

The apartments are in the former main railway station, an important part of Auckland’s architectural heritage. The communal areas are retained as they were in the 1920s with all the original features. Our room was large, simply decorated, clean and with basic self catering facilities. The king size bed was very comfortable. Ideally placed for the Waterfront and ferries and a Countdown supermarket is nearby. Do not expect four star luxury, but we were very happy staying there.

The location is not far from Queen Street, not far from the bus, train station and airport bus. Near the supermarket, you can buy it yourself. The room has complete kitchen utensils, you can also do it yourself, there is a washing machine, dryer, convenient ! Personally feel pretty good.
