Family-friendly Hotels in Antu

This is my 1 st time in China and Changbaishan. I make correct decision to choose this hotel not just global brand facilities of hotel are all goods but all stuff have good service mind for foreigner not just only chinese's client. thank You Clever Chen and GSM staff to handle me with the good moment in Changbaishan not even service in their hotel ( hot spring, very nice, cute pet for kids) but to help booking ticket/ find lost mobile phone. i would like to suggest if you do not sure international hotel choice for foreigner....Crowne Plaza Changbaishan is good choice.

The hotel is very big and it is also an old hotel. The staff greeted us warmly along the way. The housekeeper Chen Yuanyuan was very enthusiastic. After adding her on WeChat, she would answer any questions. The room was relatively old but cleaned. The hot spring was small and the outdoor one was good with good air circulation. However, when we went there that day, two women did not bring swimsuits and insisted on taking off their socks and slippers to soak their feet. All the people in the pool ran away. The people who came later probably had to soak in their foot washing water. The management of this hot spring should be stricter. The indoor pool is not clear, but the outdoor pool seems to change the water every day. However, it was a bit disgusting after being messed up by these two people. The hotel is also in a good location, with a cooperative driver, and it is convenient to go anywhere. I will consider staying here next time.

The hotel room is clean and tidy without any peculiar smell. The check-in experience is very good, the service is also great, the price is affordable, the hot springs here are good, I recommend everyone to experience it, it is also close to the mountain gate of the scenic area, a good hotel for travel.

The location of the hotel is very good. It takes five minutes by taxi to the tourist center. Outside the hotel is the town street, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk service is enthusiastic, and the travel guide and taxi calling are very considerate.

The hotel is relatively close to Tianchi Lake, and there is a special car to pick up at the door to Tianchi Lake. Our family of five, four adults and one child, stayed in two standard rooms, which were fully equipped and clean, including breakfast, hot springs and VIP access to Changbai Mountain (this VIP is highly recommended, very friendly to the elderly and children. There are too many tourists going up the mountain, and I really don’t know how long it will take to queue up). I heard that the hotel, hot spring and Hilton are one, the garden design is very beautiful, backed by a large forest, with a high content of negative oxygen ions. Living here is like having a natural air purifier. The architectural style is the traditional Korean dwelling form. If conditions permit, it should be more comfortable to live in his villa. This time, I would like to thank the hotel manager Zhang Xia (a kind and beautiful sister). My mother fell down in the hot spring and injured her leg. It was late at night and she was unfamiliar with the place. No one in the hot spring department said to take us to see it. I asked the hot spring front desk for a Yunnan Baiyao spray, but the boss was unwilling to give it, so we drove back to the hotel by ourselves. The girl at the front desk of the hotel learned about our situation and called the manager. Manager Zhang Xia immediately arranged for the hotel staff to prepare a car and coordinated the manager of the hot spring department to accompany us to the hospital at the foot of the mountain for examination. This kind of service attitude and service awareness is the quality that a high-end hotel manager should have. Although we paid for the hospital expenses ourselves, it helped us to see the elderly as quickly as possible without delaying the condition, using medicine as soon as possible, reducing the elderly’s pain, and alleviating our worries. Special thanks. I will definitely come back to experience the villa again if I have the opportunity in the future, and I will recommend it to my friends. This trip was unexpected and rewarding. Our trip to Changbai Mountain was rainy for two days, but we actually saw Tianchi. It was worth the trip.

The hotel is very close ( 25 yuan by taxi or 15 mins) from the train station. The staff went out of their way to make my stay more pleasant: they helped me to get a nice Korean dinner and since I told her my train was at 7 am and I wouldn’t be able to take the breakfast. They prepared it for me in a bag for me to eat it at 6 when I leave to the train station. Really warm staff. At first I was placed in a room with very poor soundproof and the next door neighbor was quite loud , had a duster screaming “ mom look” all the time . So the front desk had me moved to another area of the hotel on e same floor . I had a sound sleep. Something that needs improvement is that I needed 3 pillows , the hotel could not provide extra pillows and the ones the Ed has are a bit too thin. But I would stay again!

There was a bit of hiccup at check-in, and my guess is language barrier might have contributed to it, but eventually it was sorted out, as the booking was already paid via Trip.com. The hotel is not far from the town of Erdaobaihe and Changbaishan high speed railway station, but it's definitely NOT within a walking distance. Taxi or personal driving would have to be arranged. The hotel is big and the lobby is so vast and spacious, but it may be the timing of my visit that is rather empty and quiet. The room is so spacious. I especially love the bed topper; it's so comfortable. Despite the language barrier, the service is wonderful. Although I was a solo guest, they provided a full Chinese breakfast, and it has the best beef dish in China! They have a service that will take you to Changbaishan Visitor Center, north slope entrance, and you may return by taxi. Overall, despite a minor setback in the beginning, I'm impressed!

Located in the center of Erdaohe Town, there are many places to eat nearby. It is convenient to go to the north slope of Changbai Mountain. You can see Changbai Mountain by opening the window. There is a night market stall behind the hotel every night. The breakfast is very northeastern style.

I'm afraid my experience wasn't the best. When arrived our room, the floor (carpet) was super dirty. We complained to reception and they sent a cleaning lady. She wasn't super happy to clean the floor but we waited patently. Once she finished we open the bed and saw some hairs. We called reception again. This time one of the hotel managers came to meet us. She apologized and decided to upgrade us to a nicer and bigger room for free. They still took over one hour to clean it to make sure it was in acceptable conditions. I'm not sure we were just unlucky or that is the normal standard in that hotel. In any case, the new room was good to stay and we were happy with their efforts. Breakfast is almost inexistent for foreigners and it finishes way too early: 8:30. Arriving twice at 8am, we could barely find food. Except for this location, is good (close to train station, close to hospital where you can do virus test, close to connection point to enter Changbaishan (North), close to some big green areas (pine forests) where you can have enjoyable walks in the morning or after dinner. As a conclusion, if I may give some constructive feedback to hotel manager: - please consistently and thoroughly clean your rooms when guests leave; - extended breakfast time to at least 9:30; - include more variety in the breakfast and make sure quantities are at decent level by 8:00.

Disadvantages: The hotel is old, and some facilities are relatively old and need to be improved. It is really hot in the elevator! Pros: Convenient for transportation and dining. There is a station right outside, so it is easy to take a taxi. It is close to everything and there are many restaurants nearby. You can walk there in two steps. The family room is very large and has a large balcony, which is enough for children to play. The garden outside the restaurant and the hot spring on the top floor are very good. I would go to the garden every night and look up to see the swimming pool on the top floor. It is also good to go upstairs to soak in the hot spring when you are tired after playing or the children don’t want to go out. 6
