"There is a bar/lounge on site, where guests can relax with a drink. Free wireless internet access is available in public areas. The hotel is Victorian in style and offers a garden and dry cleaning/laundry service. Free hotel parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ambry Lake House is a smoke-free property."
"The room is very comfortable, the big bathtub can be bathed, the room has fruit, and you can ask the front desk for milk. The breakfast is very rich and the mushrooms inside are especially delicious. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the bus stops 555, 599 and Ambleside. From the windermere train station, you can easily reach by bus. The hotel is a bit far from the town centre of Windermere, but it can also be reached on foot. The hotel is a sister hotel with the low wood bay. Guests with waterhead can go to the low wood bay for sports facilities, see the hotel's instructions. It is worth mentioning that we originally stayed for three nights, but only booked for two nights of accommodation, for the convenience of the luggage at the front desk for one night, the next morning to come."
"Very friendly hotel. Clean and tidy. Every staff member greeted and answered questions with a smile. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. The breakfast was very good, more exquisite than other chain hotels. The snacks were delicious.
This is the only hotel room that provides mineral water among the 10 hotels I stayed in."
"The hotel is newly renovated, the parking lot is not far away, the room is clean and tidy, there are a lot of teas and the two biscuits are delicious, the town is peaceful, the environment is quiet, the sleep is very comfortable, the landlord is also very good, staying one more day is only 50 pounds, it is worth recommending"
"Facilities: Very good
Hygiene: clean
Environment: Safety
Service: Very good
Recommended very good place! Don't miss it
Hope to have a chance to come again. The location is very good and convenient. There is a parking lot.
Comfortable and wonderful experience"
"The WiFi connection was quite poor, not sure if it’s because we were at a corner room, but everything else was great, very clean and spacious room, will definitely consider again upon our next visit to the Lake District"

GGuest UserThe family hotel opened by the couple, the room was very clean and warm. The two are very talkative. If you have good English, you can chat with the couple. The couple prepared a breakfast card, you can draw on the breakfast card ✓ choose the food for breakfast the next day, the food is very rich, the taste is also very good, indicate what time to eat breakfast, and then you can enjoy it.
GGuest UserA truly beautiful pub hotel. Great friendly team, beautiful rooms, good food and real fire. Off road parking. Nothing to complain about at all. We will be back.
GGuest UserThe house in the lake area has a very good view, the landlord’s old lady is very meticulous, the room layout is warm and loving, the details are handled very well, especially clean and hygienic, and the heating is intimately turned on at night. Like 👍👍
XXinmakelijikangThe room decoration partitions are unreasonable, there are two steps from the sleeping room to the bathroom, and there is no refrigerator in the room.
RRosieThe hostel was great and worth the stay for different reasons:
1. Amazing location with big lake, near public transportation
2. Friendly and helpful staff, you can borrow hair dryer at the reception. You can keep your bag in locker room also, bring £1 coin or ask lovely staff for tap to pay.
3. Huge shared kitchen with lots of cooking essentials which can be used to cook nearly everything you can.
4. Clean and well maintained room.
Can’t ask for more with this price.
GGuest UserTraditional small English hotel, downstairs is the bar. English breakfast is provided. The house is a wooden structure ➕ later remodeled. The whole hotel is full of paintings and photography about the lake area. The reception is friendly. But note that it is a 20-minute walk from Ambleside.
HhuA bit remote from the Hawkshead bus station(25 minutes walk), enjoyed the view on the way though. Limited sockets in the room. Great kitchen and dining room. Helpful and warm staff.
JJUNThe average hotel, the lake area is full of such small hotels, but the price is high, but the lake area is high. The most inconvenient: the private bathroom is not in the room, and the room and bathroom are locked with old keys to lock the door, which is particularly inconvenient to use.
