Join us for a hands-on workshop at the Islamic Art Project Geometric Patterns event in Leicester. This workshop is designed to help participants unleash their creativity by learning to create beautiful geometric patterns. The focus of the workshop will be on creating the 8 point star, with the added bonus of learning techniques to incorporate florals into your designs. These biomorphic Islamic patterns are visually stunning and offer a unique opportunity to explore the world of Islamic Geometry. The workshop is suitable for young people aged 10+ as well as younger pupils who may already have some experience with Islamic Geometry. Please note, while all sessions are free of charge, it is essential to book in advance. Failure to attend after booking will result in a charge of £25 per ticket. Ferdous Hussein, a qualified teacher who has worked in primary schools in Leicester and internationally, will be leading the workshop.
