Discover the art of relief printing at the "Impression sur textile" event in Aix-en-Provence. During this three-hour course, led by experienced artist Emilie Walsh, participants will delve into the foundational principles of relief engraving. By creating their own rubber blocks, attendees will have the opportunity to print on fabric. No drawing skills are required for this workshop, suitable for beginners. With over 15 years of experience, Emilie adapts her teaching to each individual, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere in the colorful and comfortable studio. The course covers relief engraving basics, tool and material presentation, design and composition, carving of two rubber blocks, and printing on a canvas bag. Participants will leave with their personalized rubber blocks and canvas bag, all materials provided. A kit for continued practice at home can be purchased. Refreshments are available. This event is for adults aged 16 and above, taking place on April 20, 2024, at 560 Avenue de la 1ère Division Française libre, Aix-en-Provence. Ticket price is 55,56 €.
