With WOMAD heading for pastures new, Malmesbury Stands With Ukraine support group wanted to do something for Malmesbury to relive that festival vibe, on what would have been WOMAD weekend. And so No WoeMADness was born! A one-night festival in Malmesbury Town Hall on Saturday 26 July 2025. The brilliant line up will include energetic acoustic band Opa Rosa, local musicians Paul Mason and his band Manhattan featuring Ania Drewniok and Aaron Shotton, Theo May, Samba dance workshop and a DJ/disco to end the evening. The event is for adults only 18+ and there are two ticket options: £15 for dance only tickets 8pm to 11pm - festival food on sale, samosas, pakoras, ice cream, cake and licensed bar, live music and dancing £35 for food tickets 7pm to 11pm - a delicious Thai buffet supper (meat/vegetarian) followed by traditional Ukrainian Medovik cake, live music and dancing. We are seeking to raise £5,000 to buy and equip a second-hand ambulance and drive it to Cherkasy in central Ukraine. Please join us, have fun and support this worthwhile cause.
