Mar 24, 2024 (UTC+0)ENDED
Blackpool
Cheltenham Town and Blackpool will go head-to-head in an exciting EFL League One match on February 13, 2024, at Whaddon Road. The two teams have different ambitions for this game, as Cheltenham Town aims to climb out of the relegation zone, while Blackpool hopes to narrow the gap on the top six teams. Cheltenham's recent form has been inconsistent, with three consecutive losses before their last match. However, they managed to bounce back with a crucial 1-0 away win against Cambridge United, their first victory on the road since December. Under the leadership of Darrell Clarke, Cheltenham has shown improvement, earning 19 points from their last 12 games. Despite this progress, a recent slump of four defeats in six games has put them five points adrift of safety. Cheltenham desperately needs a strong run, but their upcoming opponent, Blackpool, has historically dominated them. Out of their 10 previous encounters, Blackpool has won seven, with only one Cheltenham victory and two draws. On the other hand, Blackpool is aiming to return to winning ways and secure a League One playoff spot. After two defeats to end 2023, they started January impressively with three consecutive wins. By defeating Lincoln United and Exeter City 2-0 each, and edging Bristol Rovers 2-1, they solidified their position in the top six. The match promises to be an intriguing battle between two teams with contrasting ambitions.

Blackpool
Head on down to Aunty Social and join our friends from Odie's for one of their popular Casual Clay hand-building sessions, now in Blackpool! This informal, friendly hand-building workshop is all about getting creative, having a good time and experimenting with clay in a gentle environment. What will I do? Handbuilding techniques allow you to use your hands to create forms with clay. You'll be able to learn or improve your hand-building techniques, like pinching, slab rolling/building and coiling. We will show you these techniques and guide you through the whole process. You'll be able to to make your own bowls, plates, vases, decorations and much more. You can also leave your clay piece with us for drying and firing in the kiln. This can take up to 3 weeks. Then you can collect your piece and take it home. Beginners are warmly welcomed.
