Life drawing, which involves creating art from the live human form, is a valuable practice for artists looking to exercise and enhance their skills. Think of it as the artistic equivalent of a gym workout, with the added bonus of being incredibly enjoyable. During the class, we will begin with some quick warm-up poses before progressing to longer poses, allowing for deeper exploration. A mid-session break provides an opportunity to share and assess our artistic endeavors. To get started, all you need is some paper and a couple of pencils. However, feel free to bring along additional materials such as charcoal, crayons, or pastels if you desire. Experimentation is encouraged! Just remember to bring a dust sheet if you plan on using messy materials, as we want to maintain the cleanliness of the studio.
