We will be joined once again by Dr Alison Daubney to consider the elements of an excellent music education in your school. It will be a practical session where you will become the students, with oppportunities to play and create music. There will be a session on developing singing in your school, and we will also be joined by Charanga. We will also include a discussion about colleagues exoperiences of Ofsted Deep Dives in Music. The Musical Museum is a wonderful building in Brentford which houses an incredible range of mecahnical instruments, and we may be lucky enough to have a demonstration of the mighty Wurlitzer. They also run a popular schools programme which we will hear about. Once again a lovely lunch will be provided, so please do get the date into your diaries for another great day of music to support you in your work. This event is suitable for class teachers, music teachers/leaders/co-ordinators and senior leaders, but places are limited so please book your place as soon as possible. To find us, simply head to the Scout HQ address at Wills Crescent, TW3 2JF. Look out for signage that will guide you, or you can easily spot us next door to numbers 123 & 125. Our car park is roughly a mile west from the stadium, ensuring you have plenty of time to walk to the grounds before the event starts.
The grounds open two hours prior to kick off, allowing you to settle in and soak up the atmosphere. Don't worry about rushing back to your car afterwards, as the grounds will remain closed for an hour and a half. Our car park will be attended until the match commences, and we provide convenient toilet facilities for your convenience. Plus, hot drinks and refreshments are usually available for purchase.
For added convenience, we sometimes offer a prematch minibus service. To secure your spot, make a reservation in advance. Prices start at £22.38 for cars and £39.71 for minibuses, and all funds raised go directly towards providing activities for our young people.
