Summer Sundays: Smokin Mavericks Live at The Oval Bandstand Join us for an unforgettable Summer Sunday as Smokin Mavericks, Kent’s premier modern country band, take the stage at The Oval Bandstand. Since 2014, brothers Carl and Ashley Crane have been captivating audiences with their heartfelt, original songs that blend traditional country with a fresh, contemporary twist. Known for their high-energy performances and engaging stage presence, Smokin Mavericks promise a day of music that’ll have you singing and swaying along. Our popular summer season of concerts is back, and this year we are bringing even more performances across a wider variety of genres to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns. The Oval's Summer Sundays concerts take place throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions). Bandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment! Doors, toilets and concessions open: 1pm - 5pm . Concert: 2pm – 4pm. A minimum £2 donation per adult on door (under 16's no donation required). All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. A fully licensed bar and food is available (alcohol and food is not to be brought into venue, bag searches are in operation). Fully accessible toilet facilities are available. All seating areas have step-free access. There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.
