Submission Process
Please reference the Design Submission forms in the section below.
Participants must fill out their form with basic information, images, and floor plans of projects. Format and submission board are provided below for participants to fill in accordingly, in a simple, quick drag and drop format. Please do not include any logos or company information as the submission is to remain anonymous.
Participants can submit a project in more than one category.
For AIA Queens members: Participants will be able to submit for an award in any category if they are an AIA Queens member and the project is outside of Queens.

All submissions must be sent in by
Thursday, May 8th.
Winners will be announced during the event ceremony on May 22nd.

"Last Wednesdays" Short Film Screening Series
Last Wednesdays is a chance for local filmmakers to share their films and also connect with other artists. Join us every (you guessed it) last Wednesday of every month for 75-90 minutes of curated short films. Each filmmaker will have a chance to introduce their film so it's easier to know who is who after. The event is hosted by Dangerworks, which is located in the Silks Building in Long Island City.

GENERAL RULES:
-Submission is free, but admission to the event is $10 a person.

-At least one person from the creative team (the writer, the director, or the producer) must be present at the actual event for the film to screen.

Queens is known as the most diverse county in the United States. As our country grapples with issues of race and immigration, the stories from our borough have an important role to play.
This spring, a group of 8 writers from Queens honed their narratives and developed their voices at the Lewis Latimer House's Memoir Workshop on Race and Immigration. We will celebrate the conclusion of the workshop with readings by the participants. Join us for an afternoon of memoir, and hear the incredible stories they have to tell!
The event will be facilitated by the workshop instructor Abeer Hoque and will feature readings by: Fortunie Cookie, Isabel Diaz, Gail Dottin, JoliAmour Dubose-Morris, Sumaiya Hernandez, Maya Reyes, Jessica Tang, and Sonam Wangmo.
