The Jiushi Art Museum at No. 27, The Bund will present the exhibition "Jorge Lando - I Want to Paint Life" to the audience. George Lando is known as one of the important representatives of Spanish neo-expressionist art. This exhibition is not only George Lando's first exhibition in Shanghai, but also the artist's largest exhibition in Asia so far. The exhibition will display more than 100 groups of works from the collection of the Spanish George Lando Museum and some private collections, covering oil paintings, watercolors, mixed techniques, etc. The exhibition will feature works from multiple series, including the "Butterfly Series", "Maternal Love Series", "Nature Series", "Birth of Color Series", "Animal Series", and "Vertical Horizon Series". The "Butterfly Series", a new work by the artist, was inspired by what George Landau saw and felt during his stay in China. Landau composes an ode to beauty from a unique artistic perspective, while also reflecting wildly and profoundly on the delicacy and power of nature. It is worth mentioning that this exhibition will also feature many large-scale works by George Landau, all of which are being shown in China for the first time. Visitors can fully appreciate the artist's artistic career spanning more than 60 years in the exhibition, and perceive the changes in his style in different periods.
