Join us in this Folk Fibers quilting workshop where tradition meets technique. In this immersive class, you'll learn the essential skills of quiltmaking—step-by-step, with plenty of guidance and personal tips along the way: • How to sketch and plan a quilt pattern using graph paper • Accurate fabric cutting techniques • Mastering Half-Square Triangles (HSTs) • Sashing or strips piecing methods • How to baste a quilt • Sewing with and through batting • Using a ¼” foot for perfect seams • How to bind your quilt beautifully • And best practices shared directly by the designer We’re making it easy for you to dive in— all materials (fabric, batting, and notions) will be thoughtfully prepared and packaged in a custom kit. Learn how to use the CNC vinyl cutter for screenprinting at Prototype x Sharpsburg! In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of how to send vector designs to the vinyl cutter and how to take vinyl stencils, adhere them to screens, and then screenprint.
