Indigenous relationships in development are currently more important than ever for several key reasons, reflecting ethical, environmental, social, and legal dimensions. Kim will share her experience as a non-Indigenous ally working alongside Indigenous communities. A Q&A session will follow. We look forward to seeing you at this meaningful event. Speaker: Kim is a healthcare professional turned social entrepreneur who founded Culturally Committed , a community-led initiative promoting cultural safety and reconciliation. Since 2014, she has worked alongside Indigenous communities on Vancouver Island, driven by relationships, mentorship, and a commitment to learning and unlearning. Through education, advocacy, and a new Learning Management System developed with a Coast Salish Nation, Kim helps others take meaningful action beyond performative allyship. She continues to practice as a dental therapist with the First Nations Health Authority and sees reconciliation as a lifelong journey.
