As dancers, it is our role to honour the melody, reflect its emotion, and offer ornamentation through breath, posture, and graceful modulation.Have you ever noticed how certain Arabic melodies move you differently—perhaps stirring deep emotion or inviting quiet introspection? This is no accident. Each maqam is crafted to touch a particular part of the soul.Through guided movement and relaxed exploration, this workshop will help you: Understand how melody and maqam shape emotional expressionExplore how to embody musicality through breath and movementFeel the why behind your emotional response to Arabic musicCome dance, feel, and connect to the music in a new and meaningful way.
AND Romantic Orientale 3pm to 4.30pm Romantic Orientale – Fall in Love with Your Dance

Their melodies speak a language beyond words — and as dancers, we bring that language to life.Float, sway, and feel every nuance as you fall in love with your dance all over again.
This choreography will guide you through soft lines, expressive gestures, and graceful movement — each step telling a story of love.Come dance not just with your body, but with your heart…

2025 DJCF Football Camp | Missouri Baptist University
Jun 21, 2025 (UTC-6)ENDED
College Park
The 2025 HBCU combine will be the largest FREE combine in the Midwest. Since 2016, we have served over 10,000 athletes. We help with guidance and instruction on the recruitment process. There are many athletes who have attended the camp that have earned scholarships to play at the next level and some that are currently in the NFL. We have many schools that come to evaluate athletes that compete on DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO levels. Every athlete that performs has a chance to be evaluated and receive a scholarship. Athletes that are CURRENTLY 9-12 grades are welcome to compete. NO INCOMING 9TH GRADERS ARE ALLOWED TO COMPETE. This year athletes will compete in waves to ensure that every athlete has a fair evaluation. All athletes must check-in during the registration window for their respective workout groups. All athletes must register and acquire a ticket for the group they wish to workout with. The waves will be as follows: Session 1 O-Line & D-Line. Registration begins at 7am and will close at 7:55am. Workout begins promptly at 8am. Session 2 RB, LB, TE, Kickers and Punters. Registration begins at 8am and will close at 8:55am. Workout begins promptly at 9am.
