After a year's long hiatus, Pittsburgh's Tamburitzans, in collaboration with Waukegan Jr. Tamburitzans, return to the Waukegan area with another fantastic collection of folk dance and song. This year's production, entitled Legacy , takes our audiences on a journey across many countries. Starting in the fields of Croatia, you'll be transported across international lines through the beauty of a melody or the rhytmic stamping of a mens' dance. Let us take you across the world - and return you back to your seat in just two lively hours of entertainment. This year's production will feature Slavic culture - Croatia and Serbia, as well as Bulgarian, Polish, Armenian, and Romani song and dance - with a short stop in Spain as well. 25 performers grace the stage, showcasing everything from flute to flamenco. Our production truly has something for everyone! Our Family Friendly show is one of the most colorful and consuming acts you can experience, a tradition for 88 seasons.
