For just $65, the fee includes everything you need for the workshop, such as white stoneware clay, materials, tools, glaze, and firing. After creating your masterpiece, leave it with Adriana Lemus, who will take it back to her studio in San Luis Obispo for firing, glazing, and a final firing. This process typically takes 4-6 weeks. The meeting point is the Lake Anza parking lot in Tilden, Berkeley. This friendly hike is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow Fieldworkers and enjoy the great outdoors. After the hike, why not head back to the Berkeley taproom for some well-deserved refreshments? Fieldwork recommends trying their Hills & Valleys beer, but you can choose any beer that suits your taste. A Fieldwork representative will be present to lead the hike and welcome participants. The previous Kidical Mass ride had an incredible turnout of over 100 riders from all over the East Bay, even in the rain! This time, we're riding the weekend before Halloween, and we encourage participants to wear costumes, although it's not mandatory. After the ride, everyone can enjoy a refreshing treat from the ice cream truck, and there will also be some fruit available. Remember, it's important for kids to wear a helmet while riding, but apart from that, all they need is a bike. This is a no-drop ride, meaning that everyone can ride at their own pace and be a part of the fun. If you have a bell on your bike, get ready to ring it a lot! This in-person comprehensive studies event, led by Lucy Barter, will take place at the Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles in Berkeley, CA. The event will run from October 30th to November 3rd, 2023, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Stitchers who have completed a Level 1 CSP in any concentration are welcome to attend. Level 2 of this program focuses on achieving technical excellence in stitch execution. To ensure a successful experience, participants are required to complete pre-work assignments before the course start date. It is important to note that registration for this course closes three days prior to the start date. Late registering students will be responsible for completing the pre-work assignments. However, SFSNAD will try to accommodate late registrations when possible. Please keep in mind the cancellation policy. SFSNAD will refund a CSP course, minus a $75 processing fee, up to two weeks before the course start date. For cancellations made within two weeks of the start date, participants can transfer their registration to the next available CSP.
