Starting at 6:30 pm, participants gather on the lower level of Paragon Sports for a scenic 4-mile run to the West Side and back. Two run options are available to cater to different preferences. The first option is a tempo/fartlek/speed workout led by Coach Brian. This option includes a 1-mile warm-up to the West Side Highway, followed by 16 sets of 90-second intervals at HM Pace with 60 seconds of rest in between. The cooldown consists of a leisurely jog back to Paragon Sports. The second option is an easy 4-mile conversational run. It begins with a 1-mile warm-up to the West Side Highway, followed by 2 easy-paced miles on the running path. The run concludes with a 1-mile cooldown back to the store. Bag check facilities will be available for participants' convenience, and it is recommended to bring your own water. After the run, everyone is welcome to relax and socialize in our new lounge while enjoying refreshing beers on tap.
