Roots to Renewal: Sustainable Fashion Futures - Denaby | Tickhill Square
May 30, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
Denaby Main
Join Bec & Angela of Plantaura and Estelle of Fashion Fusion at Wellbeen Social Garden, Denaby as we plant the seeds to a brighter fashion future and let natures creativity flourish whilst upcyling and renewing.
Our Roots to Renewal workshops offer an inspiring journey into the world of sustainable fashion. A pilot initiative sees a collaboration between Fashion Fusion CIC, Plantaura CIC, World Women Wellbeing CIC, and Artfelt to bring community gardens and sustainable practices to the heart of Doncaster and beyond. This partnership also includes Age UK Sheffield, who will be donating unsaleable clothing destined for the rag trade. The project allows for the development of a diverse series of workshops that combines sustainable gardening, natural dyeing, upcycling, and textile art to educate and empower participants about eco-friendly fashion practices.
