Trail Sisters invites women and non-binary individuals to join them for the Trail Sisters Dig Day @ Rocky Point. This event is an opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and updates of the Fanny's Yer Aunt trail, a trail that was exclusively designed and built by women. No prior experience is necessary to participate in this trail work. The dig will take place from 9:30 am to 1 pm, with lunch provided afterward. To ensure a smooth check-in process, it is recommended to arrive 10-15 minutes early. The meeting point will be the mid-parking lot at Rocky Point, where participants will gather before dispersing to their designated areas. Participants are advised to come prepared with work clothes such as a light long-sleeve shirt, long pants (no shorts), boots, gloves, eye protection, a jacket for unpredictable weather, and a hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory). Water and snacks will be available, and tools will be provided. However, if participants have their own folding saw, loppers, rake, shovel, or hoe, they are welcome to bring them. Please note that in order to access the Rocky Point property, all attendees must be a NWTA member in good standing and have signed the Rocky Point Waiver.
