Step back in time with us as we bring history to life with a visit to the past. Dallas Black history is OUR history, and these stories belong to all of us. Get on the bus as we visit historic African American cemeteries of Dallas and discover the stories of Black families in the Freedmen's Era and the ongoing efforts of their descendants to preserve their legacy. We'll mark Memorial Day with stops at Freedman's Cemetery, White Rock Cemetery Garden of Memories, McCree Cemetery, Fields Cemetery, and L. Butler Nelson Cemetery. The tour will begin at RBDallas's office at 1408 N. Washington Ave., Dallas, Texas 75204 - rain or shine! The bus will depart at 10:00 am sharp, so please arrive early to leave time for checking in and finding a seat. Our Scuola Chef will then show you how to cook the pasta you made while you prepare the sauce for the meal.
