Sankofa Nights is a unique event that brings diverse people to a family style table for an intimate evening immersed in Gullah culture while helping preserve and protect its historic land? What better way to learn about the traditions, foodways, stories and language, than to come together at a Gullah table to hear first hand information on the significant issues of Black land loss and details from behind the scenes from Eternal Polk, the director of the award-winning film, Gaining Ground: The Fight for Black Land .
