The ATX Short Film Showcase is Austin's monthly film festival. Every month, we curate 8 local short films, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers. Get ready to design the future at our Summer Fashion Innovation Camp! This five-day experience introduces students to cutting-edge tools and techniques shaping today’s fashion industry. Campers will explore 3D visualization, pattern making, garment construction, and fashion technology—including an introduction to AI in fashion. Each participant will design and construct their own custom handbag using both digital and hands-on methods. Art is for Everyone presents Cryptid Art Club! A place for curious kids to share their love of mysterious creatures Like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and Mothman! The study of cryptozoology focuses on creatures that are believed to exist according to myths, legends, and eyewitness accounts, but are yet to b proven by science. These mysterious creatures, known as cryptids, captivate the imagination and curiosity of people of all ages, but this club is just for kids! In this club, we will learn about a new cryptid every week, then make a special craft inspired by that creature. Themed sensory bins and coloring sheets will also be available for our Cryptid enthusiasts. About the Venue Cryptid Art Club takes place in our home in southwest Austin. We hold the club on our backyard patio. The area is shaded with overhead fans. Parents are welcome to hang out inside with the a/c , join us on the patio, or drop kids off for club time.
