Introduction to this exhibition了Longitude measurement method\development and major discoveries. SoMany countries competed to find an accurate method of measuring longitude, and in the process, navigation technology and science made great progress. In particular, the British invented the marine clock that could determine the time on the ship, solving the longitude problem. With the continuous development of the longitude measurement method, the safety of maritime navigation has been guaranteed, and it has also played an important role in maritime trade and the production of world maps. Through this exhibition we can learn about the development of longitude measurement, how the development of measurement has changed world history, and the challenges and achievements experienced by scientists and navigators.

This is an exhibition co-hosted by the GoEun Museum of Photography and KT&G Sangsang Madang since 2012, which aims to discover and support new artists. The writers selected this year generally focus on personal narratives. Min Hye-ryung creates portraits of everyday environments and objects, and Lee Sun faces the suffering of others through a repetitive photographic process. Lee Seung-jae visualizes the reactions of animals or responses to animals.
