We meet at Whiprsnapr Brewery (14 Bexley Place, Ottawa) every Wednesday. Run starts at 6:30pm, then we meet back up at the brewery for a drink and some social time afterwards. Great way to make new friends. Beer, non-alcohol options, and food available for purchase afterwards. Distance varies weekly, we strive to have 2 different length routes available, a ~5km, and a ~10km. For those looking for shorter distances, please come out and speak to us directly, we will instruct you. During the warmer months we go running on the Trans Canada Trail, National Capital Commission’s Greenbelt, or both. During the winter months we go running down the streets of Bells Corners. Bring your bike to OTL, put it on one of our bike stands, and learn how to assess its road safety. We will go over basic tune-up tasks and clean off the cobwebs. The tour kicks off in Ottawa at The Art House Café on May 15th. Rory will be playing through “Drifting” in its entirety for the first time since the album was released. Bios Alternative indie folk singer Rory Taillon has a voice that needs to be heard. Since 2012 Rory has released three albums and two EPs with his fourth full length album “Now It’s Quiet” released on August 20th 2024. Rory has been touring Canada for over a decade performing on stages in coffee shops and living rooms to concert halls and festivals. He has shared stages with the likes of Stephen Fearing, Zeus, Jeff Martin of the Tea Party, Adrian Sutherland and Julian Taylor to name a few. Rory was trained as a classical singer from a young age and his years of study are evident in the power and control that he has over his voice. He uses his warm guitar tone, haunting lyrics, dynamic voice, layers of looping and the thumping of his kick drum to take the audience on a journey through his set from exhilarating highs to emotional lows.  He does not shy away from difficult subjects in his music. Welcome to the Rug Tufting Workshop at Motif Boutique! Learn the art of rug tufting from our expert instructors and create your own unique piece to cherish forever. No experience necessary - all materials will be provided. Don't miss out on this hands-on workshop to unleash your creativity and make something special for your home! Details: Finished Wall Hanging or Pillow (including removable Pillow Form) will be 18x18 in. You will Tuft the Design. We will finish the product for you. Turn Around time to pick up Finished Product will be approx 1 week To confirm your attendance we must recieve an email with a picture of your design. Participants must be 16 years or older Designs can not be too complicated as small details do not work. We will advise you if your design needs to be simplified.
