Learn how to cut and arrange glass to make a suncatcher! In this workshop you can make either two small 6-inch strips or one large (6-inch) semi-circle. You can make extras at your own discretion for $30 each during the class. This class is great for those young and old alike. It's an excellent opportunity to let those creative sparks fly and be introduced to the medium of glass. No cutting experience is necessary and there will be plenty of scrap if you do not wish to cut anything at all. All tools, materials, and equipment will be supplied. For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn. After the workshop the glass will be kiln-fired. You will be able to pick up your finished coasters the following week. Skill level: Beginner Ages: 9+ This is a family-friendly event. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parking is available on Victoria Ave East.
