The Wide Angle Photo Club's POP Show and the Foo Foo Festival is offering this photo based lecture series during the annual Power of Photography Show and would be of interest to anyone who is interested in photography and history. Christy Draper Christy Draper is a chemist, biologist, photographer, poet and mindful meditation facilitator. She currently works for the USEPA and has been instrumental in producing the Wide Angle Photo Club’s (WAPC) Power of Photography (POP) Show for the past 6 years. This year she created a “Photo Caching” calendar and a WAPC Photo Caching Sites Pensacola Through the Camera album on the Wide Angle Photo Club’s Facebook page, matching historical photos of famous Pensacola landmarks to their current location. Photographers and history buffs can go to that location to see what it looks like now and post their photos in the album. The hope is to create a database of repetitive photographs of these landmarks for future generations. Instagram: @cjdraper Information Source: Wide Angle Photo Club | eventbrite
