The Rites of Passage Program (ROP) is a leadership acceleration experience for Twin Cities high-achieving male high school juniors and seniors of African descent. It is an experiential, mentor enhanced program that helps young boys transition to manhood through focus on self-knowledge, achievement and leadership in ways unique to the Initiates' African heritage. The theme of the hour is the beloved children's book Vesle Pinne får besøk by Lena Anderson. It is the story of little hedgehog who is lonely, but as she is making tea, she gets a visitor. The price is per family, so if you have more than one two-to-four-year-old in the family, you may all attend for one price. If you want your child to learn Norwegian, but were uncertain about classes, the Special Barnege is wonderful opportunity to see how fun learning a language can be. Kari teaches Barnehage, children's language class in Norwegian, each semester for 12 weeks at Norway House.
