Welcome to Intro to Sketch Comedy! This 5-week sketch comedy course is designed to take participants through the creative process of writing, developing, and performing their own sketch comedy pieces. Whether you're new to comedy or a seasoned performer, this class will help you sharpen your comedic writing skills, hone your performance technique, and collaborate with others in a fun, supportive environment. In the 5th week, students will have written and performed original sketches, culminating in a live showcase of their work. It’s about making your long runs more enjoyable and productive, with a little help from the experts. Session 1: This training is about technique and marathon blocks.We start the run with some learnings about the right technic for efficiency and injury prevention.After that we will starting building our marathon form with some blocks. Be inspired by the beauty of the human body and let your imagination flow as you draw. During this inspiring and artistic evening, you sketch a model in different poses from 1 to 10 minutes at first. He came for love, often threatening to leave after a long rainy day, but the allure of Dutch beer keeps him in place. Having been immersed in different cultures throughout his life, he enjoys reflecting on these experiences in his comedy. Mehdi is the type to crack jokes in the shower and laugh at his own punchlines. He figured it was time to share this with everyone else (minus the shower part!). Mehdi's comedic style has garnered a variety of reviews: “so funny,” declares his mom; “superstar” is what his wife regularly calls him; and “can do better,” suggests his best friend.
