Mini Golf and Speed Dating in Birmingham for 20s & 30s | Treetop Golf

How Speed Dating Works in Birmingham
When you arrive at
Treetop Mini Golf
you will be greeted by our friendly professional hosts. Once everyone has arrived and registered we will briefly explain the format of the evening. The ladies will then be asked to make their way to their allocated table. Once the ladies are seated the gentlemen will be asked to proceed to their first date.
You will have 4 minutes to chat to each date, once the 4 minutes is over we will ring a bell to indicate the time is up and for the gentlemen to move to their next date. Four minutes is long enough to see if you click with the person you are talking to and whether you would like to see them again and also short enough if you don't.
At the end of each date you have a brief few moments to make some notes on the person you have just dated. This is something to help jog your memory for the post event matching process the next day.
Half way through the event you will have an interval break so you can nip to the toilet or top up your drink at the Amazon themed bar!
After the Speed Dating has taken place, feel free to head to the golf course and play a round or two of mini golf with some of your love interests and friends made from the evening! This is a great way to mingle with fellow daters and continue your evening!
Don't forget to take your dating card home with you to assist you in entering in your ticks and potential matches.
Post Event
No later than midday the following day our matching system will be unlocked for you to enter your ticks from the previous evening. You have all day to tick as many people as you like from the night before. We guarantee you will find someone you will want to see again, otherwise we will give you your next Speed Dating event for free!

An Evening with Julia Armfield - Birmingham | Waterstones
Jun 4, 2025 (UTC+1)
Birmingham
Join us for a brilliant evening with bestselling author, Julia Armfield, discussing her latest novel
Private Rites.
A stunning, unsettling novel following three sisters navigating queer love and faith at the end of the world.
About the Book
It’s been raining for a long time now, for so long that the lands have reshaped themselves and the cities have retreated to higher storeys. Old places have been lost. Arcane rituals and religions have crept back into practice.Sisters Isla, Irene and Agnes have not spoken in some time when their estranged father dies. A famous architect revered for making the new world navigable, he had long cut himself off from public life. They find themselves uncertain of how to grieve his passing when everything around them seems to be ending anyway. As the sisters come together to clear the grand glass house that is the pinnacle of his legacy, they begin to sense that the magnetic influence of their father lives on through it. Soon it becomes clear that others have also taken an interest in both his estate and in them, and that perhaps their inheritance may not be theirs alone.

Bunnahabhain Distillery Tasting *MEMBERS ONLY* | Grain & Glass
Jun 6, 2025 (UTC+1)
Birmingham
Bunnahabhain Distillery is a historic Scotch whisky distillery on the northeast coast of Islay, founded in 1881. It's unique among Islay distilleries for producing mainly unpeated or lightly peated single malts, offering a smooth, rich character with sherry and maritime influences, rather than the typical heavy smoke of the region.
The distillery is remote and scenic, with a relaxed, personal visitor experience that reflects its quiet charm.
Joe Ellis is a true powerhouse in the whisky and spirits world, with over 13 years of experience that has firmly established him as a top-tier expert and an undeniable enthusiast of all things spirits. His journey began at prestigious luxury retailers like Hard to Find Whisky and The Whisky Shop, where he honed his passion for exceptional whisky. From there, his career took him to the vibrant city of Manchester and back, eventually leading him into the world of high-end distribution.
As a key player at Edrington/Beam Suntory, Joe represented some of the most iconic whisky brands in the world—The Macallan, Highland Park, Laphroaig, and Bowmore, to name just a few. But he didn’t stop there. Joe’s relentless pursuit of knowledge led him to achieve the prestigious WSET Level 3 Spirits certification, and he became an approved WSET Educator, teaching and inspiring hundreds across the industry.
Today, Joe is taking on an exciting new chapter with CVH Spirits (formerly Distell Ltd), where he represents a portfolio of extraordinary brands like Bunnahabhain, Ledaig, Tobermory, Deanston, Black Bottle, Angostura Rum, and Satryna Tequila. With his deep expertise, infectious passion, and unyielding dedication, Joe Ellis continues to raise the bar in the whisky and spirits industry.

Get ready for an evening of fun (and interesting) conversations.
Some Single Thing
, specialists in social and dating events, are excited to be hosting a singles event in the city of Birmingham for singles in their 30's and 40's, and we’d love for you to join us
Hosted at The Rolling Mill in the upmarket Jewellery Quarter, you will get an opportunity to chat one on one with singles.
Let's
make this a little interesting...
We understand speed dating can become a little repetitive, so we are here to make sure the conversation with each date is different and exciting.
You and your date have to work together to keep your Jenga tower intact. Afterall, all relationships begin with a strong foundation, right?
To make things a little more interesting, you will find icebreaker questions on some of the blocks to keep the conversation light hearted and all round fun.
How does it work?
Our fantastic team will meet you on arrival to register your attendance, then head over to the bar and grab yourself a drink before the event begins.
The team will explain what is planned for the evening. Half singles will be seated, the other half will rotate between tables every 3-5 minutes.
You can expect to meet up to 30 singles at our dating event.
Half way through, there will be a break for you to top up your drink before we go for round two.
After speed dating, you get the chance to get further acquainted and network with other lesbian singles too.
There’s no swiping, no ghosting, and definitely no catfishing – instead, just a fantastic opportunity to have an enjoyable evening with singles in their 30's and 40's
Our team will be there on the night to support you and answer any questions you may have.
Get Matching & Messaging
Once you have purchased your ticket, we will send you an email a little later to create a profile and share how amazing you are. This is a great way to continue conversations after the meeting with your matches and plan that next date.

Speed Dating in Birmingham for 30s & 40s | Tonight Josephine - Birmingham
Jun 11, 2025 (UTC+1)
Birmingham
How Speed Dating Works in Birmingham
When you arrive at the Birmingham venue you will be greeted by our friendly professional hosts.
Half way through the event you will have an interval break so you can nip to the toilet or top up your drink. Once all the dates are over you have the opportunity to stay on at the venue to mingle freely with others. Please remember to take your dating card home with you to assist you in entering in your ticks and potential matches.
Post Event
No later than 11am the following morning our matching system will be unlocked for you to enter your ticks from the previous evening. You have all day to tick as many people as you like from the night before. We guarantee you will find someone you will want to see again, otherwise we will give you your next

Blakedown Wednesday pub walk on 11 June 2025 | The Old House At Home
Jun 11, 2025 (UTC+0)
Birmingham
P LEASE NOTE THAT THE DURATION OF THIS EVENT SHOWN ABOVE IS ONLY APPROXIMATE AND CANNOT BE GUARANTEED; IT WILL DEPEND ON FACTORS SUCH AS THE WEATHER AND THE WALKING PACE OF THE GROUP. Our Wednesday walks include a lunchtime pub stop. Requirements for meals from the pub menu are usually requested and ordered before the start of the walk by the leader. Walkers who prefer to take a picnic lunch are welcome to do so and the leader will have a place designated for this somewhere near the pub, in the village, or in the area where we are stopping for lunch. It is very helpful for the walk leader to have prior knowledge of numbers that will be on this walk. We ask you to complete this very brief form to help with our planning of the walk to ensure that we can safely accommodate all who wish to join us. You will receive an automatic acknowledgement when you submit this form, and also a reminder of the details 2 days before the walk. Walk leader: Brenda Cameron Distance of walk : 6.75 miles – morning 4.5 miles (including short break), afternoon 2.25 miles. Pleasant easy walking throughout. Meeting arrangements: Meet by 10.30 a.m. at The Old House at Home, Birmingham Road, Blakedown DY10 3JE. If travelling by train: The 9.27 am train from Birmingham Moor Street platform 2, or 9.31 am from Snow Hill platform 1 - estimated arrival time at Blakedown 10.04 am. The Old House at Home is about 6/7 minutes walk from the station. On exiting the station turn left along the short slip road, right into main Birmingham Road and the pub is a few minutes’ walk on the left. Morning walk From the pub we head towards the picturesque Blakedown pools - formed when numerous small streams flowing down from the Clent Hills were dammed to form millponds for the small ironworks and corn grinding industries in the area. From here our route follows part of the Monarch’s Way passing alongside Harborough Hill. Another large pool brings us to Churchill Forge a waterwheel powered hand tool forge, one of the last remaining in the UK. The site dates from before 1800, with the workshop machinery dating from the early 1900s. We pass through the quiet village of Churchill, briefly follow field paths and a bridle track to Churchill Lane leading us back to Blakedown and the pub for lunch. Please note the pub doesn’t open till 12 but we will take a comfort break during the morning walk. Note: lunch at the pub is optional. For those who wish to do the morning walk only, the estimated finish time is 1-1.30pm. Or you may prefer to bring your own lunch to eat nearby and then if you wish join the group for a drink. Afternoon walk: After lunch our short route follows pleasant part wooded bridle tracks and quiet lanes. On this route we pass a truly magnificent Art Deco house which I would describe as Hollywood Hills comes to Worcestershire! It’s wonderful and jaw-dropping - and not to be missed! Expressions of Interest for this walk will close at 06.00 on Wednesday 4 June . After this, pleaseemail bhamramblersenquiries@gmail.comto enquire about any late availability for the walk. ==================================================== If you later find that you are unable to join us it would be helpful if you let us know by sending an email to bhamramblersenquiries@gmail.com - this will be passed on to the walk leader and will prevent any delay to the start of the walk should the leader be waiting for you. Please note that some walks have a waiting list so tickets are NOT TRANSFERABLE; if you are unable to join us then please cancel your place to free it up for someone who may be on the waiting list rather than passing it to someone else. General Information This is one of several walks and activities offered by the Birmingham Ramblers. If you have found this page through a web search or other means and would like to find out more about the group then please visit the Birmingham Ramblers web site; new members are always welcome.
