Joining them for this exclusive one-night event is Portland’s own soul sensation, Andy Stokes . After signing a national deal, releasing a hit single penned by Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, and touring nationally, Andy returns to his roots to deliver a performance you won’t forget. Don’t miss this incredible night of classic grooves, legendary music, and pure soul! SOUL VACCINATION Soul Vaccination remains at the top of the Portland charts, and is one of the tightest Funk & Soul Bands in the PNW. As the Rose City's favorite, Soul Vax infuses the stage with the greatest soul standards, and has been a fixture on the Northwest music scene for over 20 years. This high energy 12 piece band features Brian Harris on Hammond B-3 and keyboards, along with the precision guitar playing of Mike Doolin and Mark Wyatt. On bass is Grammy nominated producer John Linn, and on drums is Ron Tuttle, always bringin' the funk and groovin' hard. Portland's own Regina K, Porsch Anthony, and Mark Wyatt share their soulful vocal styles. Lewis Livermore and Dave Mills carry the backbone sound of the Soul Vax horns on trumpets, with Ron Regan, Gary Harris, and Timothy Bryson on saxophones. Check out the band's new singles: "Funk P-Town", "Got More Life", “We’re Gonna Make It”, and "Little Diva", on YouTube, Spotify, and all other platforms. ANDY STOKES The legendary Andy Stokes is a name synonymous with soulful, heartfelt music delivered with a silky-smooth R&B style. The singer-songwriter, a two-time inductee to Oregon’s Music Hall of Fame and multiple award winner, is known for his powerful vocals, his multiple Billboard Hits, and his unforgettable live performances. With a career spanning over three decades, he has earned his place as one of the most respected voices in R&B. Often referred to as “The Northwest King of Soul,” Andy’s pure classic vocals have captivated audiences across the globe. Andy’s ground-breaking hit single ‘Best Day Ever’ blazed up the 2018 music charts and was named one of the year’s top songs by both Billboard and the Independent Soul Charts. Quickly on it’s way to becoming a classic, ‘Best Day Ever’ consistently claims a spot in the top 10 wedding songs on streaming services, and is still in heavy rotation on playlists across the world. Following the success of his first national release, Andy’s independent record label released ‘We on Da Flo’ in 2019 (a collab with Snoop Dogg & DJ Battlecat), ‘Right Now’ in 2019, ‘I Don’t Give A Damn’ in 2022, ‘Turn Back Now’ in 2023, and in 2024 ‘No Better’. All featuring Andy’s powerful vocals and proving to the world what the Northwest has always known—Andy Stokes is the real deal. Originally from Danville Virginia, Andy got his musical start in Portland Oregon in the 80’s as lead vocals with the funk band Cool’r, signed with A&M, toured worldwide, and has performed with the likes of Jeffrey Osborne, Peabo Bryson, Ro James, SOS Band, George Clinton and many others. Cultural Experiences

Celebration
WHAT IS BEE'S KNEES WEEK? Bee’s Knees Week is Barr Hill's annual celebration that brings together bartenders, cocktail lovers, and land stewards from coast to coast. Together, we raise a glass to the Bee’s Knees cocktail while supporting the hardworking pollinators that keep our fields blooming and our tables full. Since 2017, this grassroots effort has helped plant over 1 million square feet of pollinator habitat—and we’re just getting started. Proudly part of the 1% for the Planet network, Bee’s Knees Week ensures every dollar raised goes straight to trusted nonprofit partners working to protect pollinators and nourish the communities that depend on them. We are celebrating with our friends at barr hill with a cocktail class! We'll be teaching and sipping 3 cocktails; a classic Gin & Tonic, a Tom Cat Old Fashioned, and of course a Bee's Knee. Along with tastings of the same raw honey Barr Hill uses to craft their gins and vodka and possibly a celebrity appearence by the Bees themselves!
