And so on to infinity | Hamburger Kunsthalle
2024年11月7日–2026年2月8日 (UTC+1)
Hamburg
To mark the 100th anniversary of the Griffelkunst-Vereinigung Hamburg e.V., the Hamburger Kunsthalle will show in its Hubertus Wald Forum a broad selection of lithographs, screenprints, etchings, woodcuts, and also photographs and C-prints from the 100 years of the programme, as well as some archival documents. The association has been publishing original graphic editions since 1925, making print series by selected artists available to its members. The works are chosen not according to their formal or thematic coherence but because they provide a repre-sentative idea of the respective artist’s oeuvre based on examples of their graphic work. The Griffelkunst-Vereinigung editions typically showcase established national and international artists alongside lesser-known, often younger artists of diverse nationalities and generations as well as collaborations with printmakers. This extraordinary graphics association today counts 4,500 members throughout Germany. The Hamburger Kunsthalle has been involved from the outset and has presented many of the series in various exhibitions over the years.

Hans Kunitzberg, Portraits 2002-2005 | Hamburger Kunsthalle
2024年11月29日–2025年5月4日 (UTC+1)
Hamburg
Hans Kunitzberg is an Austrian artist who takes a long time to paint his large paintings, which are layered with different colors. The artist believes that his mission is to initiate a dialogue between the work and the audience, and the artist's personality is a secondary consideration. With the exhibition HANNS KUNITZBERGER. Image 2002-2005, the Hamburger Kunsthalle is presenting the expansive, multi-part work of the Austrian painter Hanns Kunitzberger (*1955). His canvases are created in a lengthy process of multiple overpaintings, the different levels of which shine through the superimposed areas of color. The pictures thus acquire a quality of transparency that can be seen metaphorically as time shimmering through. In their color language and serial monumentality, the artist's large-scale paintings change the space: their presentation in the domed hall of the Hamburger Kunsthalle takes up the great history of this hall as an exhibition space and evokes spatial painting experiences such as in the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris.

The Let Them Theory Discussion Course | Merit Badge Books
May 5, 2025 (UTC-4)
Hamburg
Mondays in May! Mel Robbin's 2024 book, THE LET THEM THEORY, was an overnight sensation. Why? Because so many of us are ready to stop using our energy on the things (and people!) we can't control and regain more emotional peace.
For three Mondays in May--the 5th, 12th, and 19th--we'll get together with a small group to discuss The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins
and learn lasting habits to apply the book's "Let Them" and "Let Me" principles to our daily lives.
We'll share interpretations and connection through group discussion and use journaling prompts to create mindset shifts and boundaries--taking principles and turning them into action.
This course will be led by Tricia Applegate.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
You will need to have read The Let Them Theory before the class begins on May 5th. Please bring a pen and a notebook + your copy of the book to follow along. Books can be purchased at Merit Badge Books leading up to the course's start.
The purchase of a ticket will register you for ALL THREE DATES.
