A 1 day course to learn this relief printing process and unlock your inner artist with Ade Adesina! Join printmaker Ade Adesina as he guides you through the linocut process and creating unique prints. This session will give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the tools Ade uses like the electric dremel with micro drill bits, engraving tools, etching needles and also more traditional linocut printmaking tools.The aim of the class is to demonstrate the different techniques and how to achieve different marks covering width, texture, depth and tone in linocut. All class participants will be given 2 A5 lino blocks. The morning section will focus on mark making practice, getting you comfortable using the tools and create makrs in the lino. The afternoon section will focus on cutting and printing a design of your making and achieving a print outcome. ELMEFTI (Germany) - INSTAGRAMSOUNDCLOUD After years of raving on sweaty dance floors and looking up to the Dj booth elMefti decided to pursue his passion for electronic music, but this time from the other side of the Decks. Becoming a DJ and playing in local rave parties for a crowd only increased elMefti's interest in understanding how all the different beats and sounds can be morphed together into one single musical piece. But having played many tracks from his favorite producers, elMefti began experimenting in his small bedroom studio and creating simple catchy beats. That's where his journey towards finding his own special sound began. Evolving overtime, his sound varied from classical rave Techno to modern club banging hard Techno.
