Marathon Mindset - Find Your Inspiration. Be Your Motivation. Geared toward both the newbies and experienced marathoners, this seminar will have attendees review and explore their own personal marathon training journey reflecting on the actual training done - the running, strength training, yoga, etc. plus all of the non-training actions taken to get them ready for each week of training. We'll also delve into the whos and whys - the inspirations and motivations that got them to initially sign up for their race and drives them to keep showing up each week. Attendees will have some time to think about those reasons and motivators. Finally, we'll wrap up with some thoughts on what it takes to run a marathon. We'll discuss the efforts of training and how your mindset is what will carry you across the finish line and when that dig deep moment occurs. We'll also tap into the sports psychology of what it means to be an athlete. Join us in Adams, MA for a Mount Greylock hike on April 26th!Let’s gather the last weekend of April to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views that Mount Greylock has to offer. Hike Details: We will be meeting at the Cheshire Harbor Trailhead at 9am sharp! The Greylock Hike will be about 7 miles round trip and approximately 2100 ft elevation gain. This is a moderate to strenuous hike hike. We will take it slow and steady and take breaks as needed! This hike typically takes about 5 hours but this could vary based on conditions, hiking speed, and how long we want to spend enjoying the views. Want to learn more about this trail?
