Experience the thrill of the Sugarloaf Inferno 2024 XC skiercross race, featuring challenging rollers and berms down Sugarloaf Mountain to the Outdoor Center in Carrabassett Valley. Taking place on Sunday, March 24th, this downhill race is tailored for advanced and expert cross country skiers, with no alpine skis permitted. The event kicks off at 1pm with racers starting in waves of 5. Bib pick-up will be at the Maple Room in the Base Lodge from 10am to 12pm, where participants will receive a lift ticket, bib, timing chip, and registration gift. All skiers must wear a helmet and sign a waiver during bib pick-up. For those under 18, a parent or guardian must be present to sign.
