This one-day intensive workshop offers a range of games and exercises to help you become more sensitive, vulnerable, and playful on stage. Led by multi-award-nominated comedian Jeromaia Detto, this workshop focuses on the core principles of clowning – simplicity, connection, and play.
In the morning session, participants will explore the concept of Le Jeu (The Game), a fundamental element of clowning that helps understand impulse and encourages play. After a delightful lunch break, the workshop will dive into various clowning techniques and skills to enhance stage presence, connect with the audience, and find freedom in play. Key areas of focus include Clown Thinking, Fixed Point, Major/Minor, Complicité, The Flop, and the Pleasure to Lie.
