Dr Joel Merriner's talk will delve into the significance of these artworks in contemporary discussions surrounding the transcultural nature of fantasy illustration. As an esteemed academic, Dr Merriner imparts his knowledge through teaching various modules on art historical methodologies and the history of book illustration at the University of Plymouth.
